we did :) with lemon and sugar. we only have a tiny frying pan so had 3 small ones after tea. was really nice. yummmm.

Didn't have time to make any :(

But bought some at Sainsbury's and got some maple syrup, so it was okay.

Can never skip Pancake day!

been a bit under the weather lately so havent been around as much. feeling a bit better now, although its TOTM. had some pringles yesterday - they werent as good as i remember them!!

its val day today - we have no car and no food in so our romantic meal will be something involving kidney beans and perhaps some cabbage! LOL. I'll rustle something up :)

I've dug out some turkey mince so im Gonna make turkey chilli with pasta. Found a recipe that looks quite nice. I'll post it up later. X

made tea and ate it, was yummy!

1 pack of turkey mince
1 red onion
1 galric clove
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chilli flakes/powder
1/2 tsp oregano
3/4 passata carton or half tin of toms
some pasta
salt and pepper
olive oil or fry light



cook the onion and garlic in the oil for a few mins, add the mince and cook until no pink is left. add the herbs and spices and mix, then stir in the toms/passata. add a pinch of salt and a couple of shakes of pepper and simmer while you cook the pasta. serve together and enjoy :)

low cal because turkey is lean, and packed with flavour from the spices xx

Very very close! But I'm weighing on sats now. I won't have a good loss this week, TOTM always gives me some sort of gain so what I lose gets cancelled out :( x

It's certainly a curse in more ways than one - especially for me who never wanted kids - 30 years of it for no reason!!!! Grrrrr. Does that mean the week after though you get a bumper loss? Oooo that'd be great

It varies from month to month. Also depends on how much I've eaten or drank.
I crave carbs during TOTM so that's prob what leads to gains.

I lost 3 lb this week! I'm quite surprised! Not site of my total, I had a few ups and downs lately and my heads been out of the game :(

Going to push myself hard this week and get my mind back in the diet frame.

I don't know what's going on with my weight. It's been up and down, following my moods most prob!

I've been snacking more coz I've been down about stuff. I really have got to pull it back in :/

I took my son out for lunch today as he's going on a school trip tomorrow for 3 days and he's all nervous. Wanted some quality time so we went to solva which if you google, you'll find is a lovely little village by the sea. We had a walk and dinner in the pub. While everyone around us was shovelling down carvery lunches, we opted for a more subdued ham egg and chips without the egg. And I had extra salad. It was really nice and I took a pic to prove my reasonably healthy choice :)

Duncan had sticky toffee pudding and hot choc and I had a glass of water!

I'm doing a bit if snacking at times too .. Not a great amount .. But nevertheless a packet of crisps is sneaking in ..! It's almost totm so I'm using that as an excuse I think :-(

I had a sneaky weigh in and it's better than I thought! I think I may just make 4 stone by the end of feb :) that's be brill!

Today I've not eaten much. Just a bread roll and a wafer bar and a bag of crisps. So exciting!

Got beef strips out for tea so will make something with them. Not sure what.

Last night I did turkey biryani which is low fat and very tasty and filling. I should do it more often coz its good diet food without feeling like its diet good.

Sorry I've been quiet lately, gotta loads stuff going on and I've not been in the mood to write much.
I wish dieting wasn't so effected( I know it's affected but my damn phone won't let me correct it! ) by emotions. I'm not sure if its the same for everyone but it sure does affect me.
It's been TOTM too this week and I've been bad and had crisps and choc etc... That's why I was so surprised when I weighed this morning! Guess they aren't heavy foods though.

Hey!

How's you? How you getting on with the no eating after 6.30 thing?

I put water in the fridge coz I only like it really cold, i can get thru litres everyday. Maybe try putting a bottle in the fridge & u can grab it & take it around with you :)
