Low moods..

    Hi guys

    I'm wondering if you can recommend anything to help with low moods, something herbal or anything u cam think of?

    I've already been to dr and they just said I need to exercise etc and I'm just coping with things that's been happening in my life recently..

    It's getting so bad that my oh doesn't want me coming over anymore if I'm going to be in a mood or not talk to him - he's right I've been horrible the past couple of weeks and I just want to snap out of it!

    Any advice x

    Hey hun,
    I am on anti d's so am not one to hand out any advice! My sister takes St Johns Wort or Wart?! and I think that works quite well. Another thing is get your vitamin levels checked because when I'm low I turn into a right cow!

    tigerlill88 is right on. I was turing into a unsociable moody moo and I knew it had to stop when my little toddler cousin phoned on her birthday and I was soooo grumpy that I told her a fib that I had to go to work just so I didn't need to be grumpy to her. This is despite me being a very happy person with nothing to be grumpy about! I started taking multivitamins and I couldn't recommend them enough!

    Ive just ordered 5-HTP

    5-HTP Info - may sometimes start working within hours. 5-HTP converts into serotonin, and important brain chemical involved in mood, appetite, and impulse control. 5-HTP suits those whose mood disorder is associated with anxiety, restlessness, or racing thoughts)

    I'm also going to get some vitamin B and fish oils after work.

    Its funny that I feel in a better mood because I'm doing something about it lol

    Like that it controls your appetite as well! Could do with some of that right now whilst I am munching my way through a kitkat!!

    Lol it is very naughty but I am so bored at work (as you can tell from the amount I am posting!) and I was craving choc. Not good. That's half an hour extra on the exercise bike when I get home!!!!!
    And just realised- sorry for talking about food!!!!!

    Really good (apart from the sore bum!) it is great to have it there and just pedal away watching tv. They gym was nice but it is such an effort getting ready and I would have to go with hubby as he has the car so this just works out much better and cheaper for me.
    Have you been to the gym this week? or are you going to slow down a bit while your on tfr?

    Ive not been this week yet - wanted to get 2st week of TRF out of the way lol.. I'm going Friday, Saturday and Sunday :)

    Hi Hun only just seen ur post - I am feeling better.. Not sure of if it's the tablets - I'm not taking them everyday - just before bed if I feel a bit low.. I'm defo not as moody the past couple of weeks x
