Low Syn Hangover Help

Well .... After weeks of being good I had a blow out last night .... Three bottles of wine later ... two pizzas and garlic bread... a flake easter egg and caramel biscuits !!! Now feel majorly FAT and in need of more bad food .... HELP ... Want to lose at least another 4 lbs over the next two weeks for a special night out and dont want to have ruined it !! xx x :wave_cry:

Well its done now so feeling bad about it not going to change it. So if you feel *fat* go out for a walk, work up a sweat get active, stock up on nice fresh fruit(which is awesome for sweet fix). Yes you had an epic blowout but dont feel bad, just carry on as plan as normal!

Don't give in now! The sugars etc are all still doing the rounds in your system begging you to give in and top them up again but don't let them win! Like PS says, get our and about if you can, drink lots of water and eat lots but make it free food. Don't waste your time on guilt or if onlys though, you can only look forwards at this point so make your next move a good one! xxx

Also perhaps look at why you did it? As it was obviously something psychological triggered?
I know it was because it was the 7 year anniversary of my mums death and my dad is currently terminally ill. This is the first anniversary that I have also had to deal with the face I am gonna loose my dad soon.... Just really want to get back on track now .... xx

In that case hun why feel guilt over something so emotionally stressful. I hope you are feeling ok now. The beauty of slimming world is it is flexible so if you have had a bad day or week then so be it. Its about change in lifestyle and eating habits not just diet :

You should cut yourself some slack. Given the circumstances it is totally understandable that you would have other things to think about other than sticking to plan. Lots of water, a good long walk to get rid of the inevitable headache (sunglasses required I imagine) and a big bowl of berries to make you feel virtuous and cure the sugar cravings.

Its one small blip in the scheme of much larger things.

Hungover you'll be dehydrated and hypoglycemic

So fruit for sugars
Water and lots of sugar free drinks
Comfort food for taking the edge off the hangover feeling, so like someone's said, SW chips and a syn free fry would hit the spot.

Thanks everyone for all being so lovely ..... I am on the water as suggested and have decided to go for a walk / jog this evening as its lovely weather.

I just find it so easy once I have had one bad day to feel like i have ruined it.

What are everyones thoughts on the SW Lasagne sheet crisps .... are they free and are they any good ?? xx

There's a big debate about them on here my consultant says there free as long as you don't eat lots every day but some people say syn them. But they are delicious just like tortillas xx

Dont feel bad about your blowout - you obviously needed it for different reasons. Stress makes me blow out big time, but im a chocoholic.

Just get back ojn the plan, eat all your fav meals. Why dont you make a pizza base out of smash? then you can not feel deprived. I dont know how many syns WW wine is but maybe its a bit lower in syns then conventional wine is.
