Low syn spiced onions

Spiced Onions
Serves 4 - 1 syn per serving

1 large or 2 med onions
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 to 1 tsp of chilli powder
1 tsp of mint sauce*
1 tsp of mixed herbs
3 tbsp of tomato sauce (I used a lower sugar sauce which worked out at 2 syns for 3 tbsps)
1 tbsp of mango chutney (2 syns)

*Use sugar free mint sauce or 2 drops of mint flavouring. Otherwise you will need to syn this as well. I dont have mint sauce so I used mint flavouring.

1) Chop up the onion into little chunks
2) Add the chilli and the salt to the onions and mix
3) Add the herbs, tomato sauce and mint. Mix well.
4) Finally add the mango chutney and give it a good stir.
5) Put in the fridge for at least 30 mins to let the flavours mature.
