Extra Easy Days Making excuses

This morning I decided to get back onto SW but within moments I had 'found' an excuse to get me out of it till 1st Jan. I knew tomorrow evening I would pick at the buffet at a New Years eve party so rather than falling off the wagon again. Id save the guilt and not get on the wagon until after the party Lol which I know won't happen cos its the weekend and that's my hardest time cos its not easy planning when doing the family visits. So that would become my next excuse so is then make my start date 4th Jan lol

BUT I stopped myself, I knew it was an excuse and even if I did pick at the buffet I'd still have 1.5 days under my belt which I wouldnt have if I waited.

My only other excuse I have which delays me starting SW in the past was that I looked at all the 'hurdles' id have to overcome such as not just constantly grabbing sandwiches for lunch. But again I reflected on all the positives and started from there.

Funny how an excuse can spoil your mindset

Good for you! :) You should be proud of yourself. Excuses are so easy to make and hard to shake off!

you should make an "unacceptable excuses" board / list and stick it to the fridge..

NOT good reasons to go off plan..
1. I have a party / do to go to and it's impolite to not eat anything..
2. I'm going out with my friends and it would be rude to not have a drink with them..
3. I'm busy all day so I'll get a takeaway for dinner....
4. ....

and so on...
