Mandys food diary-week 2

Hi guys! Well I finally joined sw group last night! Start weight of 19st 6.5lbs eek. Hoping this will be the start of a successful journey and look forward to getting to know everyone! Starting off on EE but have a feeling I'll prob switch to red plan soon! This food diary is intended to keep me on the straight and narrow lol, well here's hoping!! Xx
 
Day 1-EE

Breakfast:
Coffee (1 syn for sugar)
Banana

Lunch:
Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn (2syns for mayo)

Dinner:
2 chicken fillets stuffed with laughing cow light (hexA) and wrapped in bacon
Side salad with boiled egg

Supper:
Fresh fruit salad

Snack:
1/2 a bounty (7syns)

Really struggled to have a hexB today. I dont eat a lot of bread, cereal etc so gonna work on that tomorrow!

Well day 2 and its going well so far! Made a big pot of syn free veg and potato soup which looks delicious! Going to work on drinking more water or squash today as opposed to diet fizzy juice x
 
Hey Mandy,

Well done for joining slimming world it's a fab eating plan. All I'm gonna say is don't forget your 1/3 superfree food with every meal when you do EE as I couldn't see any included in your lunch on day 1 & you need to have a bigger breakfast as a coffee and banana really isn't enough. All the best for on your weight loss journey.
 
Thanks! Yeah I struggle with the third superfree foods, going to keep trying today and if can't get it I'll be switching to red and green days xx
 
So yesterdays food intake:

Day 2 EE

Brunch:
Large bowl syn free homemade soup
Handful grapes

Late lunch:
Another bowl of syn free homemade soup with 1 slice bread (hexB)
Apple
Pear

Dinner:
2 chicken fillets in a chinese marinade (2syns)
3 egg omelette with onion mushroom and pepper
Fruit salad (chopped apple. pear and grapes)

Drinks:

4 pints of orange squash
2 tins diet irn bru
Glass milk (hexA)

Day 3 EE

Brunch:
Large bowl of homemade syn free soup with 1 slice bread (hex B)

Skipped lunch as had my yoga class (oops)

Snack: 1 plum

Dinner:
Jacket potato with tuna, mayo and peppers (2 syns for mayo)
Side salad with 2 boiled eggs

Plan for supper:
Fruit salad (apple, pear, plum and mandarin) and glass milk (hex A)
Fruit corner (healthy balance) strawberry (3 syns)

Syns 17/70

Still not 100% with the 1/3 superfree but my group leader said that if i struggle to get veg/salad into my meal then to make sure i have fruit as "pudding" if u like....im finding this a bit easier! xx

Day 4 EE

Breakfast:
Pear

Lunch:
Roast chicken
2 boiled eggs
Stir fried veg with small amount sweet chilli sauce (2 syns)
Some honeydew melon

Also picked at 2 of the wee boys mcds chicken nuggets (oops) 3 syns

Dinner:
Bowl homemade syn free veg soup
2 chicken fillets with chinese marinade (2syns)
Carrots

Supper:
2 slices watermelon

Drinks:
4 pints orange squash
1 can diet vimto
Small diet coke at mcds

Dinner:
2 chicken fillets
boiled baby potatoes with parsley
salad with cheese (HexA)

Snacks:
Packet hula hoops (9syns)
Flyte bar (10syns)

Day 6 EE

Breakfast:
Apple
Banana

Lunch:
Roast chicken
Mashed potatoes
Salad
Coleslaw (4syns)
Small bit BBQ sauce (3syns)

Dinner:
Chicken fillet with stir fried veg
Some pickled onions

Weigh day tomorrow!
 
Well its weigh in night tonight so i wont bother putting my diary for today.....as i will likely have a little treat tonight lol. Will update weigh in later xx
 
Weighed in and 4lbs down.....happy with that! Not majorly keen on EE tho so gonna have mostly red days next week with 1 or 2 EE thrown in xx
 
Wed 16th EE (wk2-day1)

Breakfast:
2weetabix (hexB) milk (hexA)
Plum

Lunch:
Bowl homemade syn free lentil soup
Fruit salad (apple, plum, melon, banana)

Dinner:
2 loin pork steaks
Batchelors savoury rice
Green beans

Pork loin steaks with stir fried veg

Sweet chilli stir fry sauce (2syns)

Have just made soup with lots of superfree veggies, potatoes and butter beans, peas. Got to be good with the superfree foods this week as going out tomorrow night and just know I will go over my syns I've saved so will need to work extra hard til Tuesday!!
 
Wk 2 - Day 3 EE

Breakfast:
banana

Lunch:
Large bowl homemade syn free veg soup

Dinner:
2 cod in butter sauces (5 syns)
Jacket potato
Green beans and peas
Pear

Snacks:
Packet cheese and onion walkers crisps (9syns)
Bag cadburys buttons (8.5syns)

Due my TOTM and i just really fancied some junk....altho i had syns to use ive blown it for tomorrow night. I have a big night out and was saving syns for that. I'll still be going, i'll still be drinking, bt the reality is now i have no syns saved up so will have to flexi syn and work extra hard and eat syn free from sunday til tues weigh in lol x
