Manky tongue

    Hello everyone.
    Can any body tell me if they have the same problem as me?
    I have really thick yellow gunge on my tongue :(.
    Never had it before and asked both the pharmasists in town yesterday and neither had a clue!!! OMG!!!
    Please help it's so horrible.

    Yes I had one in I think it was the second week I think it's something to do with ketosis, I just brushed it when cleaning my teeth and used mouthwash. I still get it a bit but not as much, hope this helps?

    I have tried brushing it with my spare tooth brush but didn't make any difference, using listerine a few times a day to try and keep the taste away.
    Think I will go get a hard tooth b rush and give it a good scrub.

    hey yep its all about ketosis...i have it too! even scrubbing it doesnt help it too much but at least you know you in the big K :) x

    I've got the exact same problem, it's really horrible - I brush my tongue around 3-4 times a day with a really firm toothbrush, does get rid of most of it - it seems to help keeping up with the brushing several times a day!

    Thanks dunders, need to get a harder brush so going down the pharmacy to get one now and scrub.

    It's horrible isn't it - I did wonder what Gillian McKeith would have to say about it!! I thought it might have been the shakes aswell because they leave like a film in my mouth.

    My tongue seems to be getting a bit better recently - maybe it's part of the detoxing process?
