March challenge... all welcome

well done Nzmegs - how much pure water do you drink per day? and how much tea/coffee etc do you drink.

I have 2 litres of water + about 2 litres of tea/coffee but wonder if that is enough? :confused:
 
hi ROSB, sorry i am jumping in on ur conversation but i noticed u sed u have 2litres of caffeine??? that is wayy too much, never over do caffine too much is never good. please read this website Caffeine
 
the tea/coffee I have is caffine free - I cant drink drinks with caffine in as they keep me awake ALL night! :eek:
 
I have those 5 litre big containers of water and try to drink all of it each day. But the water is also used to make up the shakes and I add loads of ice. I don't drink tea or coffee. I have two shakes a day and this week i will be having 2 soups.

So it is likely to be about 4-5 litres of water (plain) and a couple of shakes and soups. But if i don't quite make it to that i just try my best. Some days you just need more. if you are exercising, or it is warmer etc.

But never drink it all at once.

Bear in mind that I used to have about 2 litres a day and lost only 1-2 pounds. So the water thing is worth it.

Apparently well functioning kidneys are essential for weight loss and a ketogenic diet can dehydrate. So that's the reason why we need to keep drinking. And water is generally good for us.

Thanks for all the support guys. I am really pleased to be so close to goal. I just hope i don't end up 1 pound shy next week. because i will have to do another week of LLT. I refuse to not reach my goal!!

3lb loss this week for me so pleased. Coming off steadily if not overly quickly. All the extra water didn't seem to make any difference but will keep trying to drink as much as I can.
Really hoping I can make my target for this month but with only 2 more WI looks a bit iffy, still always hope and if I don't at least I'm losing and not gaining.

I lost 2.5lb this week yay! so only 1 more lb til i reach my march goal=) I'm not going in next week as will be in London so got two weeks worth, so hopefully next time i post my weigh in on here i'd of smashed that target=) also i now have a normal BMI for the first time in for ages! you lovely people have all done amazing this week with your weigh ins congratulations to you all!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you nzmegs and rosieposie=D it does feel weird, just because it's happened so quickly and i never thought i'd be there! 3lbs for me this week. Just over 1lb to go and I've lost 2stone :) Oh and 4 lbs more and I'll be in the 14's instead of the 15's :) I really need to up my water intake and fill my glass everytime I empty it (or get a bigger glass lol!)
