    Hellooooo everyone, I was just wondering if anyone fancied joining me in a March challenge? Your challenge might be to lose a number of lbs or to maintain successfully or move into the next stone or even the next dress size etc. For me it will be to get my 7 stone award and lose 6lb.

    Hi, I'll join the march challenge. I've just started slimming world again, don't go to class but thinking of joining online. I've got 75lbs to lose. I would love to do a 10k or half marathon in September (it's the first one my town has ever held) so need to get plenty off to start training.

    I find it quite weird as I lost nearly 4st, 14 years ago first time with SW I also became a consultant for about 3 years, due to other work commitments I had to give it up, I've been on and off it ever since. Last time I did it was 2years ago during and just after my last pregnancy.

    I need to do it, my challenge for the month is just to stick with it and lose, I don't mind how much.

  5. Hi, i'd like to join the march challenge :) I'm going to Tunisia in 6 weeks and 6 days so a challenge to keep me motivated is good!
    My goal for March is to continue losing, never to gain anything back and to hopefully lose between 10 & 14bs & also to be able to run on the treadmill for a mile without stopping to walk, jog or die!!! Im a horrific runner, but I want to do the great north 5k in september and I need to get practicing!

    Welcome Lauren, those are brilliant March goals. Let us know how you're getting on, I can't run on the treadmill I always end up falling off, lol

    I'd like to lose 10lbs in march, had the whole of Feburary off - moved country and went on holiday! Gained 2.5lb but not discouraged.

    Following ww if anyone else is?


    Has anyone given something up for lent? Diet drinks for me... Going to be tough!!!

    Hahah thanks, shall let you know! Had my last Pepsi max at ten to twelve so still wide awake lol!

    I was wondering whether this would happen for March ... Thanks Superfree - I know it isnt written in stone and completely personal, but find it really helpful and somehow accountable when I do this. And the long terms ones scare me - a month at a time on the other hand ... :rolleyes:

    Gonna try for 8 lbs again ... Weighed in at 185.85 lbs on 28 Feb (end of Feb challenge) - so goal this month is 177.85 lbs.

    Slightly off topic (sorry guys :hijack:).

    I noticed you said that you are 5.3 (in another thread) and just saw your goal weight. Was just wondering how you set your goal? I still dont know how low to go (I think I am smaller than I've been my entire adult life!).

    Was just looking for some guidance :eek:

    Midweek update, prob won't weigh now until middle/end of next. Had quite a good first week, been poorly for the first part. But because I was off work I was more organised. 3 lb lost since Monday. Really pleased with that.

    183.42 lbs this morning. 2.43 lbs lost - 5.57 lbs to go.

    179.90 lbs, 3.52 lost - 2.05 lbs to go... I hope I can smash this next week!
