Haha cheers, im currently in training for my first 5km run which is going to take place on 13 days training and ive never run before. I started on sunday and managed 20 mins straight away no probs so i thought i would go for the race and see how i get on.

I love running n can't wait 2 get back 2 it once the babt's born! Good luck wif yer run n let us kno how u get on!

OK well its now the 15th March and I have decided to start exercising (had to stop when I injured my foot) so I aim to do at least 25 mins for 3 days then rest for one til the end of March using the Your Shape. So that's 18 days til the end and out of those days I will exercise for 14 of those
 
Hi not really sure how this thread works but I have started exercising using the nhs couch to 5k pod cast. I have so far completed my week 1 run 3 times this week! Go me! I haven't exercised (beyond walking) for about 8 years! And plan to do it at least once more before moving onto next one. I do it with my youngest in pram! We lpok a real sight in park! My question is veyond tge obvious health benefits of regular exercise will I see an improvement at the scales? I have lost 17lbs in last 6 weeks but still have at least 4 stone more to go!
