Quick question - I've noticed a few people putting mash as a red day HEb on their food diaries. My book doesn't list that, I thought you could only have potato with skin as a HEb due to the fibre requirement. I've been synning my mash on red days then struggling to use HE's.
Anybody been told different?

Doesn't that make it lumpy? Don't think I'd like it :(
Ah well, I'll stick with my cauli mash.

If you use mash with skins on meat cottage pie, by the time it's come out of the oven you would never know the skins were still on.

Cauliflower mash is lovely if you blot all the water out of it and mash it up with laughing cow. StaceyUK has it with broccoli (conversation about rice subs got onto mash) which sounds yum so I'm trying that next. I think it'll have to be synned mash tomorrow, cooking for the OH and he won't be impressed with the cauli. He's got the kind of metabolism I dream about
