meringue question / experiment.

this is going to sound bizzar.
but by now i don't suppose you would expect any thing else from me :D

i have been wondering about meringue...
i know that it is comprised of 2 ingredients.
1. egg whites
2. sugar.

well here is my thinking.. eggs are allowed as one of the foods approved by Cambridge, but.... it is the yolk that has all the proteins and calories, but the whites.. what's in them. nothing that i can fathom...

what i am suggesting is getting some egg whites and some sunshine orange powder as that has natural sweeteners, and whisking them together like you would to make meringue, then cook in the over to make a lemony flavoured meringue that would technically be free to have on Cambridge and it would also be a nice sweet treat?

has anyone thought of doing this or even tried this?
all thoughts are welcome!
going to try this in a few days and will let you know how i get on
