Mhairi's diary - made it through to end of week 2

    Well I have almost reached the end of my first week.

    On the food front, Until today I think I have done fairly well. I have eaten well even managed to go to a wedding on sat and at least eat within my points (the drink pushed me more than slightly over the limit:break_diet:)

    I have been working out at the gym even seeing a personal trainer. Which means for the first time ever I am actually working hard while I am there.

    Today been slightly naughty ooops had to have a packet of crisps or two but i have the gym tomorrow so will work it off then:)

    So tomorrow I will go and way in and see how things are actually going :)

    Sorry things have been mad with work!!!!

    Lost 1lb last week and hopefully another couple this week (i weigh in tomorrow)

    This week ahas been absolutely crazy but on the upside it means I haven't really had time to think about food or eating anything naughty!!!

    So hopefully this week I will have lost another pound or so :)

    I never thought I would say this about work but long may the craziness continue!!!

    I have also ben at the gym 4 times this week, twice to work out with my trainer (which is ace cause I really work hard) and twice on my own to go swimming!

    So even if I never lose another pound I am getting fitter :) which is really what I want ultimately. I don't mind being 20st so long as I am fit and healthy :)

    All sounds very good - you sound really motivated, even though you were a little apprehensive at first.
    My youngest (3) starts swimming lessons tonight so we took him to the pool on Saturday for a 'fun swim', managed to get a few lengths in and felt so much better afterwards

    you sound really determined which is great!

    id love to go to the gym but wouldnt go on my own and none of my friends want to go either, i think one i loose a bit of weight i will start going xx

    i have never been in a gym in my life!!
    well done missg, i agree being busy does help!

    I was totally the same as you I didn't want to go to the gym on my own and had no one to go with, and in that respect working out with a trainer is awesome!!!! Now I am quite happy to go on my own because I have that little bit of confidence and I have discovered, the gym isn't just full of skinny people :)

    End of week 2!!!

    So i have now made it through to the end of week 2.

    I have been no angel and things are moving slightly slower than i had hoped but they are moving.

    I have now lost 2lbs :) and I can row 1500 m in 8mins 10 secs (over a minute down in just over 2 weeks)

    So every little helps and heres to the start of week 3!!!!

    tho i dont go to the gym i occaissionaly go swimming and actually prefer togo on my own, i like the anonymity !!
