MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

That looks yummy! :) xx

Think that 'sauce' would have stayed saucy if I had eaten it fresh but as a reheat, defo no complaints and super duper simple. To be able to knock up a lunch / dinner in 15 mins, that's well up my street!! The lemon and garlic worked so well together and wasn't overly sweet considering it was a Mullerlight greek yog. Got half the portion still in the tub downstairs and I think I hear it calling my name.... Noooooooo! :D xx

Your lunch looks delish! I'm sitting here waiting for my eyebrows to be threaded with a rumbley tum! X

Hey Minks,

I thought I would pop my head round the door, how's everyting?

That spidery scar looks really bad hun, bio oil is good, but really only when it is a closed wound. Does it weep? It looks invitingly picky, I don't think I could leave that bad boy alone!

Did you go to the Cineworld in Crawley Leisure Park? We go to that one when we go on our holidays, its a ritual, spend the night in a hotel before we fly and have something to eat and then go to the cinema there. I had my first IMAX experience there! My boyf is the other way in that he adores the cinema and would go every evening if there were more films out! I do like going, but I still haven't mastered the art of not having popcorn and I do sulk when he does and I sit there with fruit and a cereal bar - so I would rather not go. Saying that, I need to see Iron Man 3 and Star Trek.

Take care lovey and nice one for fitting in a size 10 - I haven't been a size 10 since aged 10!!!

xx

Hello Lovely!

Bites pretty manky looking isn't it? I try and wear long sleeves to cover it up when around people but doesn't really work in this weather. No weeping, just big and horrid. boo!

I do go to cineworld at Crawley Leisure Park! Its a 5 minute drive from mine :) how funny that you have been there! I am so looking forward to seeing Star Trek, saw a trailer for it last night and gawd damn I nearly wet meself! When you next go away you'll have to shout and can meet up for a bevvy!

Shame about you having to cancel your plans at the Ritz, hope you are feeling better now? Total bonus though that they have allowed the rebook, I think I would have kicked up a stink if they hadn't, would have been totally unfair as you can't help when you fall sick xxx

Ooh so annoyed I'm now booked to work that Saturday! Would love to have met you all! Food sounds fab as ever minks. Bite looks nasty! I'd def be working at that till it bled, I'm such a picker! Agree that maybe a visit to chemist would be a good idea. X

What time are you working on that Saturday? We are all meeting around 11 at Kings Cross so don't know if that's too late for you to get there and back for work (or if it would be worth it for the time you would actually spend there?!) But we can defo arrange something here, maybe you, Sarah and I? xx

that spider bite looks awful. could you cover it loosely with a bandage so it doesn't catch on everything? I'm a picker too so i would be awful with that. if you moisturise the skin around the edge of the wound it might help keep the edges down.

Love the kiddie breakfast, but I am so trying your pasta!

I am going to get some more moisturiser on it and hope that it helps soften it and stuff. Pain in ze bum. And yeah, breakfast was totally kiddie-fied but love it! And 25g is surprisingly a lot. Pasta is a must to try, just too easy and tasty not to xx

It would be fab to see you, Scarlett, I'm sure we can work something out - as Minks said, maybe something local? Whereabouts are you? :) xx

I'm not sure what time I'm needed yet but likely to be in the afternoon any time from half 2 so wouldn't be worth the hour there and hour back to only stay an hour potentially. Would def like to meet up locally though.
I live in Horsham sarah x

I thought you were in burgess hill for some reason! Closer than expected :D xx

The SW part of me says Harvester is the easiest SW option? And there are a couple in Crawley to choose from, which is handy. We just need to sort out a date :) xx

Well thats bloody great, and I will do that - we are going to Barbados on 3rd August, so we will be staying at the Travel Lodge (Povey Cross) on the 2nd. I would defo be up for a beverage somewhere - that would be great - Mick'll be there, but that's ok, he can buy the bevvies! I will pm you closer to the time. . . which reminds me, I had a dream about you this morning! It was very strange - but you worked in my building and we were all on the roof terrace (not that my work has a roof terrace, but for the purposes of my dream it did!) and you were there having lunch with your mum and I was with my friends, and although I had seen your face before around the building I had never put two and two together, but I was listening to you and your mum chatting and you mentioned double dipping food (!) which was something I had (in my dream) remembered you mentioning your hatred for on your diary! So I said "excuse me, are you Minky Dinky?" and you rolled your eyes and said "yes, another follower" like some famous person, I clapped my hands with glee, like some star struck person and you came over and gave me an air kiss on each cheek - I was all gushy and then I woke up - how weird.

Anyway, maybes thats why I thought I would check in on you at lunchtime today - I only just remembered it.

Man, am I the first to have a Minky Dinky related dream?! Please feel free to distance yourself from me Minks, I wouldn't blame you....!
