MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

Mmmm food looks good espec breakfast. I only recently discovered the dorset museli and it's quick becoming one of my fave weekend breakfasts, surprisingly replacing the SW "fry up"! x

Its really nice with yogurt and fruit but could you imagine having it on its own with milk?! tiny portions! Xx

Thursday - tick!

Popped out at lunch to see if the little tesco had flat mushrooms :( nope! Nor passionfruit, gah! So asked the boy what he would like out of a list of about 7 things I could make using mince. And he chose the beef hash and fried egg grill out of the mag. So... thats what we are having. Which I'm happy with because who doesn't love a runny egg?

Going to have mine with some veggies, probably cauliflower and green beans.

OH! And fantastic news!!!!
You know when you're having a really good week food wise, and you have social plans that although you know will be fun and what not but think about how all your hard work will be undone? This is me this week and drinks / work night out tomorrow....

NOT ANYMORE!! YIPPPEEEEEE!
Felt like a weight had been lifted. Its been cancelled - 4 people can't make it now and someone else has gone sick, another has a bday surprise weekend sprung upon her so, cancelled. Imagine my delight! A whole week, no drinking, all on plan, i'm over the blinking moon!

How awful is that!? Instead I'll be going to asda for some bits instead of Saturday night, which means Saturday I can do my tesco shop (I'm totes rock and roll this weekend) and get my goat on. Literally, I will cook up a mass batch of slow cooked goat curry.

Well happy right now! :D xxx

Hiya really fancy goat curry now. Where did you buy the meat from and how much did it cost.
I really want to have a GO AT goat! :D

Hello lovely! How ya doing?
My goat was from our local greengrocer and butcher called Taj (there is only one in Crawley and one in Brighton but I'm sure most butchers or halal places would do it?) I don't know exact cost either. I got a kilo of diced beef and kilo of diced goat for £13. So I guess half that?! Xx

£13 for a kilo of meat!!! that's a Baaaa rgain hehe

Your food sounds lush this week Minky and I dont think you being happy at staying on plan for a week is awful - it shows your well focused hun. Go Minks xx

Just been looking online - Goat meat is anywhere between £8.50 and £12 per kilo depending on the cut/part of goat. So I think you got a good deal hun. xx

Hmmmm. 3 days = 45 syns available to 'use'. I've had 8 (2.5 today for fish and sriracha).
I've not had any snacks in between meals except yesterday I had a banana when I got home because I knew dinner would be a little late. I even stopped eating tonight when I felt full and this amount was left:

I've not been 'overly' thinking my food just been really busy with work and not had any thing after dinner. I've taken the same pot of grapes and strawberries to work 2 days in a row!!! So I may just treat myself to a minimilk for 1.5 syns. Taking me to 4 for today, or 9.5/45. Pretty good going.
As for plans tomorrow... turns out one of the guys who we were going with is now having the remaining people over to his for drinks and bbq for his bday. Which is awesome because I'm up for the socialising but the focus isn't on the drinking? So I'm just going to take some flavoured fizzy water from tesco, drink in a nice wine glass and be in on the evening. Convince myself that its all good. And because there are some people going from other depts that I know won't be drinking too there is no pressure to have any (like if we were going to the pub/bars as originally planned). Woo woo!!
