    YAY! Good wagon Minnie64!
    Together we can encourage the 38lbs off forever!! :)
    I'm half way through my 2 litre bottle of sparkling water and I've already had 1.5 still so nearly there!
    I got my litres and pints confused and thought I had to drink 4 litres!! Lol!
    When do you get weighed? Mine is Friday, so only after 4 days so not expecting anything too magnificent but hopefully week 2 will be amazing as it will have been over a week!
    It's only day 1 but I'm loving this diet already!

    I saw CDC week before last although I did not start until today (been away living it up for the weekend). My next appointment is Thursday evening but I don't think I am going to get weighed. If I can I would like to see her on a Monday evening each week but I won't know until Thursday.

    I was similar... got weighed on Sunday but wasn't planning on starting a diet on a Bank Holiday so I started today but can't make next Sunday and my CDC doesn't do Tuesdays so had to do Friday. I don't think I'll be able to resist an early weigh-in (I dont have scales at home so I'll have no idea what's coming off!) :eek: But it's coming off... that's the main thing!! AND knowing I've done well will get me through my first weekend... HOPEFULLY!!
    Day 1 has been amazingly good though! I'm dreading day 3 and 4! I'll be on here ALL day then!! LoL! No work done again! :rolleyes:

    Well today I have had:
    12.40 - velvet chocolate tetra - lovely
    7.00 - chicken & mushroom soup - hmm not sure about that one!
    9.00 - banana bliss tetra - lovely
    Only had 3 and a half pints of water - must do better tomorrow.
    I have scales at home and weighed this morning but will count CDC as official weigh in obviously. I got weighed when I visited my CDC last week and after the weekend I have had I know I have put weight on but don't want to see it on her scales would rather wait until I have done plan for a week - know what I mean lol

    Wow... you did well to have hardly anything during the day.
    I had.....
    11am- banana tetra
    3pm - choc tetra
    8pm chik n mush soup
    Think I managed about 3.5 litres of water yesterday.
    I was meant to finish work at 5:30 but had to stay an hour late as my client had problems and I got a bad headache and grumpy... but that could just be tiredness!
    At lunch I went out and got some Max Senna (I read on Keeley's blog that she used it so thought I'd be prepared!) and a travel size mouth wash to carry in my bag for desperate times of dog breath... apparently aside effect of SS.

    I kept myself busy last night by making my boyf a packed lunch! Just making food up made me feel better and I didn't have any temptation to eat it.... so day 1 officially went well!
    Hopefully day 2 will go aswell! ;)

    Sounds like you did well too Minnie..... it really isn't as bad as people think. Makes you realise how little you need to survive and how much crap I've been putting into my body!!
    Roll on my first WI - I can't wait to see a difference in my clothes!

    Well done LoveIt on a first successful day. What did you think to the packs? I am still cooking for OH so made him his dinner - sausage, egg and chips with a slice of b&b - my mouth was watering like mad - one of my faves.
    Only had water, water and more water and 2 cups of black coffee today - no foodpacks with me! I take it you haven't had any side effects yet? I am dreading days 4/5 to be honest.
    Have a good one today.

    Thanks - well done you too! I really liked the packs.. the soup was a bit powdery though but bluemoon recommended doing it on the hob so I'm going to try that tonight. I whisked it up in the blender but it still had a powdery tase. Fingers crossed for tonight!
    I was bored so made my boyf a packed lunch... I felt better for doing it as I didn't feel deprived - even though I didn't have any just the interaction with food helped! Eeek I'm obsessed!!! :eek:
    I saw your message about no food packs - poor you! I put mine on the top shelf fridge every night and just grab them on way out. At least when you get home you get to have lots!!
    No side effects yet although apparently a dry mouth and bad breath is a sign of ketosis - I had that after my first tetra so I'm sure I'm just imagining it! LoL! That's the only problem reading everyone's blogs etc... you know what to expect so now I'm imagining ALL the symptoms... I'm prob not even in ketosis yet!
    Have you had any side effects yet? I heard day 3 and 4 are the worst so I guess we can safely say 3-5 will be bad!
    I get weighed on day 4 though so I'm hoping that will help with my mood?! Can't believe it will be day 3 tomorrow - if we can get through that together then we can smash 4 and 5 too! Ready for a food free, hungry free, happy weekend! (A girl's gotta wish right?!?) :confused: xxxxx

    OK - Day 2.... tick!
    Today I had:
    1.30 - banana tetra
    7pm - choc tetra
    8:30 - chik n mush soup

    AND I did the Nike Rockstar class at the gym.. thought it might be a gentle dance class... GOD was I wrong!!
    Def going to stick to swimming and gentle walks for the first few weeks.
    Oh well, day 2 is done and I'm in good spirits... looking forward to day 3.

    Forget to bring any packs to work! (actually I didn't - brought some tetra packs today put them in the fridge and there it was a tetra pack from yesterday:sigh:
    Anyway I had :
    chicken & mushroom soup - 7pm
    Chocolate tetra - 7.30pm
    Choc & Orange shake 8.30pm
    Got weighed this morning and according to my scales have lost 4lbs:eek: Also checked and I appear to be in ketosis which I am absolutely gobsmacked about! I am sure the bad headaches will come. Going to see CDC tonight but decided not to get weighed. I am going to see whether I can see her on a Monday evening from now on.

    Well done! I weighed myself at gym last night and I'm still 12.3!!! NO LOSS! Grrr....
    Oh well... I did have my trainers on - hehe. I'll just have to keep on going though as this diet obviously works!
    Hope you have a good day today.
    Not sure when this ketosis is going to kick in... I feel great but no bad breath or anything... have you had any symptoms yet? x

    The gym is not the usual place you weigh so will show a different reading! If you stick to it you will definitely lose!
    Ketosis that's a funny thing because I checked with a stick this morning and according to that I am in ketosis! Must admit have a tinny taste to my mouth so using breath freshener like there is no tomorrow! I thought I was getting headace this morning but has come to nothing! When I did LL days 4/5 were the worst for me so that's tomorrow and Saturday - dreading it!

    Day 4 - dare I say it?? Still no headaches! I feel sure they will kick in over the weekend! I feel ok up to now to be honest but am waiting with bated breath (ooh and smelly lol). Loveit I see you are having a hard time today - stick with it hun - first WI will show you it was worth it.

    I feel MUCH better now.. hopefully that was the bad part over and it'll be all sunshine and energy from here!
    Had my WI tonight - only 4 days I know but I couldn't resist! - I'm down 4 lbs and 1.5 inch from waist!! :D
    Pretty pleased with that although I would OBVIOUSLY prefer more! Lol! Next WI isn't untill another 12 days so that gives me 12 reasons to stay strictly SS so I get a good loss next time.
    When is your first official WI?
    I'm trying strawberry and mint choc shakes this week (as well as my beloved choc tetras!) and the oriental chilli soup... I'll let you know what I think!? :confused:
    Hope days 5 and 6 are good for you!

    How was your Sunday? Got through mine ok. Went to the pub to watch the rugby (only drank fizzy water) and then for a walk round Valley Gardens which is lovely. Stuck to plan. Got 1st wi tonight so a little nervous! Let me know how you're doing hun

    Hey I'm good thanks.
    Sunday was okay... I went to Hampton Court with the family - and like you stuck with the fizzy water whilst everyone else was having ice creams! Had my 2 shakes.. had the strawberry and mint choc - did it in the smoothie maker with ice and it was delish!
    No temptations to cheat - but I did know I was having a meal - decided to SS+ at the weekend... so last night I just had fish and courgettes with some basil.

    Well done you for sticking to SS.. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you tonight!! Make sure you get straight on here and let us know how you did!
    I bet you've done really well!! :D How exciting!! x
