  1. Hello :)

    I have decided to start a diary to help me with my weight loss journey.

    I weighed myself this morning -
    16 Stone 7.6 Pounds.

    I need to lose 6 Stone 8 pounds in total.

    I have limited myself to 1400 calories.

    My goal is to be 12 stone by 14th December.

    This gives me 29 weeks to lose 4 Stone 8 pound.

    Therefore I need to lose 2.2 pound a week.

    Good luck. I'd recommend having more calories than 1,400 to start with, as you have a reasonable amount to lose. You may also want to have this moved to the Diaries section. :)

    If you put a thread on the Forum Technical Help section asking for it to be moved to the Calorie Counting Diaries section, they'll do it for you.

    If you want to know how many calories you should be having, calculate your BMR and TDEE online, and eat an amount between those two figures - just not below BMR. :) xx

    I have calculated my BMR & TDEE:
    My BMR is 1750
    My TDEE is 2375

    I will try and increase my calories to 1600,
    That would be a deficit of 700 calories.
