Hi all, I decided to write my progress down in a diary when I began cd. Initially I was happy to keep it to myself, but after reading other peoples diarys and realising how much they helped me get through my first week I decided to share it for anyone who it might help.

First of all, a little about myself. Im a 21 year old student living in northern ireland. I also work part time in a supermarket stacking shelves.
Looking back I wasn't really a chubby child at all, always taller than most but never overly fat.
I think i began to put on weight when i was around 14. That akward age where things were growing so I refused to do P.e.. you know the score.
Well I found myself looking at my 21st birthday party pics in absoulute disgust. There is one particular photo of me in between my boyfriend (27) and brother (20) and I look like I weigh the same as them put together!!
enough is enough! So exactly 1 week ago I began my CD journey, and in that 1 week I have lost a staggering 10 lbs!

I really cannot believe it. A few days ago I was so close to giving up.... trying to tell myself to just be happy with the way i am!.. but i didn't and i am so glad.
Im in day 8 today and for the first time I feel sheer determination, no food is nice enough for me to jeoprodise my first real chance of being happy with myself in years.

Heres hoping my attitudes sticks with me for as long as my unwanted weight has! lol

i'll try and update every day when possible!
thanks for reading xxx

End of day 8 now. Today my grandparents came to visit and brought with them a big Apple crumble!!.... I almost caved, but I managed to resist... poured my self a big mug of black tea and disappeard whilst they ate their huge bowls of evilness.
To begin with i hadn't told people i was dieting , in case i failed.. AGAIN.
Now though everyone knows, so hopefully this is good motivation for me not to fail.
Hi everyone by the way, hope you are all doing well :)

Well done to you 10lbs is a fantastic loss lets hope next week is a good one. I have just restarted yet another diet today, this time I am posting a diary to see if that helps me.

I find having a diary helps me! I've had a bad couple of days and reading through my old entries when I was doing well has helped me see what I can acheive when I put my mind to it and that it's worth it for the losses!

Well done on the start of CD, I almost wish we had that out here as people seem to get amazing results! And good job on saying no to the crumble, that's my issue, saying no to people, I think when you get past that hurdle you're half way there!

Hey kathleen and rori, thanks for replying :) Im glad your diarys helped you and i hope mine helps me!
Day 9 today, got more cd packs posted out today so I now have a 3 weeks supply here. It's great at the moment as I still have plenty of the nicer ones, im going to try and space them out though so im not left with all the horrible ones to use up at once! lol
Today im babysitting my cousins twins ( they are 2) they're pretty well behaved as far as toddlers go though so i can't complain. Im just dreading having to feed them. So far i've managed just to avoid food altogether so this will be pretty difficult for me.
i'll update later with how i get on. xx

ps: the chocolate mint cd drinks are bloomin lovely!! I think even if I were to bail on this diet I would enjoy drinking them as a treat.
