Day 42 and a bit down in the dumps. Weighed in this morning at 10st 9.8lb. Now, if I was disciplined and only weighed myself once a week, this would be a loss of 0.6lb. BUT, beinh addicted to my scales, I know that earlier in the week I weighed 10st8.4lb and then crept up to 10st9lb. I know my body needs to adjust to eating again and I can honestly say I haven't "cheated". I have stuck rigidly to 1200 cals or below every day. I was going to up my calories more gradually but have been genuinely hungry, so maybe this is the cause? TOTM also (over)due so this might be a contributing factor...

Lesson learned anyhow and I am not weighing myself until next Monday morning.

Food wise it's been a great day.

B- Cup of tea and one slice low cal bread toasted with 12g sugar free pb and blueberry compote

Snack- Tea

Lunch- Cauli soup and 1 wholewheat English muffin, toasted with scraping of butter

Snack- Fruit stars (61cals)

Dinner- AMAZING homemade chicken and egg fried rice. Forgot to take a pic because I hoovered it down.

Snack- before Kickboxing I will have 2 oatcakes with blueberry compote (and peanut butter) if I have enough calories left.

Hey what's your recipe for the lovely chicken fried frice? Do you know how many cals or ww points? Thanks

Will post the link for you! I worked it out as 449 cals per serving using MyFitnessPal. X

Oh dearie me. So I treated myself to a small hot chocolate today in town after my interview with the recruitment agent. It's something i've been craving so thought i'd get it out of my system. It was small, with a shot of peppermint, and made with low fat milk. No whipped cream or anything, although it did come with one "free" chocolate. Anyway, I enjoyed it, added it to MFP and that was that. Today is one of my higher calorie days (I am cycling calories to keep my body guessing, as was suggested on here by someone).

Wow, do I regret the hot chocolate now! At least I think it's the culprit. Sorry if TMI but I'm running to the loo every few minutes and have the worst cramps! I wonder was it too rich maybe? Oh well, if anything, the results may aid my weight loss??!!

Ahh thanks defo trying that!

Enjoy! Wish I was having it again tonight!

Right- I've given up counting days because I'm always forgetting what day I'm on and I'm getting too lazy to scroll back and check!

So today TOTM arrived and I'm ravenous. I am still within my calories though, and also have kickboxing tonight, which will make today a "low" day. I was meant to be meeting old work colleagues for tea and cake this evening but it was cancelled and I'm quite happy as it means I can stay in and eat a healthy dinner. Not much food in the house so going to scramble 2 eggs and have them with a toasted English muffin. Maybe some ketchup or tomato relish too, wow!

I made flapjacks to bring to tea this evening, so I treated myself to one. They are 200 cals each though, wow! Basically just sugar, golden syrup, oats and dried fruit. Diabetes waiting to happen! I will send them into work tomorrow with Mr. McFatterson.

Getting nervous about my interview on Friday. The more I think about it, the more I want the job. Yes it's shift work but the money is incredible so I can save enough to take lots of time off when we have baby number 2 (not planned for a while yet!) There are also lots of days off mid week so I get to spend time with my little lady and she won't be in crèche every day. I should know by Monday if I've been successful or not. Keep your fingers crossed for me please!

Meals today:

Snacks:
Oatcakes with blueberry compote
Flapjack
1 pack of fruit stars

Breakfast:
Slice of low cal toast with sugar free peanut butter and compote

Lunch:
Toasted English muffin with butter and cauliflower soup

Dinner:
Scrambled eggs and toasted muffin with butter

Copious amounts of tea!

Decided to have some reduced sugar baked beans with my dinner. Total waste of calories, so bland :(

The thing is, once you get used to the reduced sugar ones the normal beans taste disgusting because of how much sugar is in them, lol. I have a small tub of reduced sugar beans cold for my lunch every day at work, and love them! xx

Will persevere so! Thanks! I like the weight watchers ones but think they must have sweetener in them?! X

NON SCALE VICTORY ALERT! Rested my phone on my lap earlier and couldn't understand why it fell on the floor. I'll tell you why- because there is a GAP between my thighs! Yippee. When I stand or sit with my legs together (like all ladies should!), my thighs don't touch. Next stop, the catwalk..! Night folks. X
