Fascinating fact: I have written smut fiction in my dark and distant past. Bad smut fiction. Ahem. Honestly though there are only so many ways of writing insert tab a into slot b - I prefer to leave the specifics to the imagination and focus on how things build up.

And Susie! I speak elven too :) geeks unite! Love lord of the rings, the silm, hobbit etc. All the books I loved best were fantasy - narnia, Alan Garner, the Redwall books, Dianna Wynne Jones' Fire and Hemlock and her Dalemark Quartet...

Hilarious!!!! Give us an extract!!!!

My fav book both reading and on cassette (for those that remember what they are) whilst drifting off to sleep was War of the worlds by HG Wells!! Oh and anything by Stephen King.....sod Enid Blyton and her ginger beer malarky.....!!

Hahaha do love Mr King but Tim Curry as that clown in IT absolutely traumatized me when I was about 11 or 12. I still occasionally wait for blood to bubble out of the sink and evil clown/spiders to come and get me.

In fact I bought and read the book of IT to try and shake off the fear and rationalise that it was fictional and ended up having nightmares until I got it out of my room! That never happened with the famous five!

I did have a huge point horror collection while my friends had bsbysitters club / sweet valley high though. I did have some cred ;)

Oh god and war of the worlds - is that the musical version? The oooooolas still freak me out - shivers!

I have no street cred whatsoever. Can't handle anything scary - even the woods scene in Beauty and the Beast (Walt Disney version) scares me if I watch it after about 10 at night! (and yes of course I'm a mental case! lol)

Haha one year I watched Cape Fear at someones sleepover and read/watched the BFG.

Guess which gave me nightmares?

aww BFG he was a sweetie :D
"IT" OMG i remember that......i'm a bit of a scar die pants too, especially with creepy films, watched one based
in an old asylum, wow did that creep me out or what...
like reading them though, sometimes way better than the film.
hope you have a good day ML.

Love Lars! Such a great movie!! X

I can remember sitting in the bath when I was about 5, sobbing my heart out because Bambi's mum had been killed - a sensitive little soul, not robust enough for horror movies - or the Darleks either, as it turned out seven years later lol - I did a mile in about seven seconds after watching (old) Dr Who at a friend's house and then having to come home in the dark! :D

Also suffered major trauma after Jaws - told Mum I couldn't use the toilet because the big shark would come and get me :D A few years later, when I was surfing (yes, really), a real shark brushed my leg - blood everywhere, their skin is like sandpaper - haven't gone swimming in deep water since.

Scary! Hope you punched it in the eye! My friend got back from his surfing trip recently. He's Aussie, he's seen a few sharks. Surfing was one thing I always wanted to do - on the 'when I get thin' list you know? Can't do it now with the osteoporosis but it still looks amazing.

Food today:

1/2 avocado mooshed with
30g cream cheese

130g lamb loin fillet fried with
50g asparagus

200g riced cauliflower fried with
Butter
Spring onion
2 egg yolks

Gluc pudding
Mug of alpro

Spoonful peanut butter

NZ doesn't have as many sharks as Oz - but they're still there, lurking beneath the surface du du du du du du du duuuuuu :D

Surfing was great, we all did it - but I was rubbish, under the water more than gracfully skimming across the top - no sense of balance :D Ditto the roller skating and skateboarding. Alcohol and boys was much more my thing :D
