Moo's year - 24 st start and restart

Hello hello, I know I have been quiet but its been busy at work and did not had time to update.
Been good today too :) other hand its only 6 weeks to go and I still have 9,8 kg to lose. I think it will be very close one if I even reach my goal at all. But I will do my best. Have good feeling about it.

Food today

Crisp bread and soft cheese. Cottage cheese. Salad and beans. Scrambled eggs. Herring. Coffee 1 syn.

For lunch I had chicken and sweet chili sauce with some new potatoes

Dinner
Tomato soup with chicken and rocket. 2 syns

And my dessert was snow ball soup. Its Estonian thing I did try it for first time and must say I could do it syn free and was very happy about it :)
Its eggs and milk ( he) and sweetener. Defo will do it again :)

Hey Cat, its very simple really but I did some changes to it.

I used 2 eggs , separate egg whites from yellows. Add sweetener to both of them and whip them up, until whites are hard ( is that the word to use ? ) and yellows have turned to light and lightly thicken. Then put water to boil.You need about 5 cm of water in pan. when water is boiling take a spoon and put egg whites to boil , but make like little balls,small portions, hehehe , dont know how to explain - one spoon full at the time, yo should get about 4 or 5 of two eggs. Boil them from both side about 30 sec. To boil them from both sides you just need to turn them after 30 sec. They will stay on top of the water.

Now this is the part i did change - in original you need to boil milk ( how much is up to you - I had 150 ml ) add some sugar ( sweetener ) and bring it to boil. then add to boiling milk starch that is mixed with cold water and let it turn boil again. When milk is thick you add warm milk to egg yolks slowly and make something like custard. You let it cool a little, put custard to bowl add snowballs and cinnamon if you like and you done =)
What I did was , skipping the starch part and added only hot milk to eggs , worked just as well. Then added my snowballs and done. I let others to taste too - just to see what they think and they loved it =) So, yes - will do it again ;)
 
Wow the snowball soup sounds delicious but complicated to make! I fail trying to poach an egg so I will probably also fail trying to make the snowballs :(

Bowl of vegetable teriyaki noodles with sweet chili sauce. Will count 4 syns for that. Coffee 1 syn.
Another 2 syns for tasting.

Hello everyone. Been off today and spent most of the time in bed. Reading. I love to read and for long time I have done any reading. In happy place today.

Fast update. Been on plan and had nice meals for two days. Have to say it was hard last night. As I used my syns to early and the fact that I used them puts so much pressure on me. I know this and still I keep doing it. Well I did go the free food way but I was not happy. How to explain it. When I know Im out of syns I dont like food that I have. So I keep eating something else and something else. I did not do to much damage as free foods are still free but I could have not eaten them either.

Today as I had day off I cook myself nice food but kept the portion size under control.

Im more happy about it.

I had only fruit for dinner but Im still not hungry so I will leave it as it is.

Tomorrow I start early again but I will try to go syn free as much as possible and not put myself under that much pressure. :)

I want my 7 st on saturday and I will keep it in mind :)

Im quiet because Im not well and dont feel like typing. Got cold. :(
Started yesterday and this night I did not sleep much. All body in pain. Legs , hips , arms… everything. Could not find position to sleep in.
After all this I still went to work as i know we very busy. That was an mistake. I should just call in morning. Will do that next time. Im just use to work in team. And if you not well but know that your help is still needed you go and do your best. But in my work place people like to put all the responsibility on me and me going there and telling - dont count on me tonight, was not what they wanted to hear.

So I did only my section and prep everything for tonight and now Im on my way to home. One and only time i will do that mistake again. No one cares that you put yourself in pain to help them out.
And thing is , if there would be someone to call out instead of me I would have let them known but there wasn't. Like we say back home " no good deal will go without punishment ".
Still lot to learn here but thats fine. Only way you can learn is by mistakes.

Enough of that.
Will go to sw meeting tomorrow as saturday i start early. I did step on scale this morning and it is promising but with illness maybe i gain water weight , will see.

Aww bless some places the team work is good others not so good it's a shame becuase if they didn't be selfish you could all work together and make it easier for each other!! I'm sorry to hear this and I hope you feel better soon and that you get a good result. You truly deserve a good result x x
 
aww Moo ((((((((((((((((((((((big hugs)))))))))))))))))))) I hope you are feeling better soon. Unfortunately a lot of work places are like that they don't care if you drag yourself into work if you are sick to help them out. At least you know for next time.
