Hi all, I discovered this app while looking for low carb recipes, so hello!! I'm James, 30 from Thurrock, Essex. I had some success with Atkins(ish) before, but must have strayed from good sense because when I got on the scales a few evenings ago they said 17st!!! (238lb) although the next morning, after having done nothing except sleep, I was only 16, 8 (232)
Anyway, I'm not particularly interested in the number on the scale. I'm more of an inches-around-my-middle kinda Man. And when I measured that yesterday it was 47" :-( something needs to be done. I want my 38" back. Maybe even 36"!
So, I'm getting back to Atkins(ish) and I hope this Forum will help with a bit of encouragement, challenge and inspiration.

Hi James, welcome to Minimins :)

I can weigh up to about 4lbs different from the morning til evening so that's sounds about right!

Good luck with Atkins, you'll get lots of support and advice on here :)
