Motivation needed!

Hi all

I have just made a HUGE mistake by thinking i could have a couple of days off over easter.

I was 2 and a half weeks into LT and had lost 8 kilos, had my wobble days as i call them but was managing ok apart from being tired on an off and then i did the most stupid thing ever and had 2 days off!!

We were out for a family meal and i caved in and then did it again the next day.:mad::cry:

Decided that i would start over again this morning and only managed to do till tea time then ended up having a chicken salad because i was so hungry.:cry:

I found today harder than the first time and feel so let down with myself for giving in so easily when i was doing so well.

I am determined again tonight to give it my all tomorrow and not give in to temptation and just give up so easily.

I was just wondering if anybody has found it hard after thinking 'a copule of days wont hurt' because they have and i regret it more than anything. I am just hoping the next 3/4 days go quickly and i can get back into ketosis and stop the hunger and thoughts of food that have driven me mad again today. One thing is for sure, this time if i do well i wont be so easily fooled as to think its ok to have a break.:sigh::sigh:

Mandie, You're not alone cos this is what happened to me........I have just got back from staying with relatives over the Easter weekend. I started refeed last Tuesday and on Friday morning had a choc shake and packed some shakes for the weekend......what a joke that was, they never came out of my bag!!! I made sandwiches for the journey and scoffed lots of them along with crisps and sweets. On Friday I had fish chips and mushy peas and cream cakes, Saturday was even worse, Sunday I had cooked breakfast, roast dinner and cheesecake and easter eggs, Monday had curry at my mother in laws and trifle and more chocs and by the evening I felt sick!

I am so glad to be back home, I've weighed myself and it says I've put on 6lbs:eek:. That doesn't surprise me one bit.

Back on the shakes BIG TIME tomorrow!!!

Its nice to know i am not alone and im going to go for it big time tomorrow. Glad easter is over and i can get back to the shakes and soup.

According to my scales i have put 2lb on which isnt great but thought it would have been worse to be fair.

Hope you go on ok tomorrow i look forward to seeing your update.:D

aw never mind just try to get back on track as soon as possible and stick with it......you did it before and can do it again! and 2lb is not that bad at all you will lose that and more by next weigh in i bet! don`t worry, just start a fresh and forget about it......its not the end of the world! xxxx

i to had a bad weekend i ended up buying a small cod had a couple of chips and a bit of battered sausage i feel really down and cant stop thinking about how much weight i will of put on i will find out saturday,i quess we have to try and stay strong and carry on good luck
