Motivation!!!

    Hello there ya'll,
    I have just found this forum as a member of my class said about it a couple of weeks ago!! I have been in Slimming World for two years now and I was very motivated up until just before Xmas this year!! Nothing seemed to be going right I had hit 10 stone 3 and then my auntie passed away and I started to binge. Now its just after my birthday and I am 11 stone. Does anyone have any advice on how they got remotivated after a difficult period?:ashamed0005:

    I've been having a "stuck" period. I found that going back to basics is helping me. When I first started, I was really careful about my shopping lists, making sure I had in free things like Quorn sausages, which although they're not my favourite thing in the world, they're not terrible and really do help. I've looked through my magazines and picked out a few recipes and am cooking up batches of slimming world meals (and freezing back in portions) so that I have delicious home cooked food that is ready to heat and eat so it's all convenient, which makes me less likely to stray off the path.

    You just have to remember all the hard work you've done and how disappointed you'd feel if you gained back the weight... losing it is such a joyous thing... knowing that you have to go over old ground again is so depressing! You've put on less than a stone, you can lose that in a couple weeks if you work at it. Easy! :)

    Get some bigger pictures of yourself an stick them on your fridge so when you go for somethin synful it might stop you! :)
