Movicol/Fybolgel....what is allowed??

Hello all,

Im sure this has been brought up before but I can't find it anywhere.

Right, without putting it bluntly....what are you allowed to take to "get you going"?

I normally have lots of fibre i.e Branflakes etc as otherwise I won't go without it.

Have just been to boots and have bought some plain movicol and some fybolgel. I know the movicol is fine but I'm not sure about the fybolgel. I've bought the one in the green box, it doesnt mention orange so have I bought the plain one?

Sorry to bring this up but everyone needs to go...even the queen

they are both fine to take . If you think you may be bunged up now then you neeed to clear it with the movicol before you use fibogel . Fibogel is a bulking agent and if you are 'blocked' it will just make it worse .
I use movicol every day and it works well
