mr whippy ice cream!!!

i just found out that u cant eat mr whippy ice creams!!!! ive eaten at least one a week since being pregnant:cry:

Nope you can't because of the germs and also anything mcflurry from mcdonalds.

Why not anything McFlurry? The milk is pasteurised and the machines shut down and cleaned each night as per protocol?

The NHS site doesn't mention anything about McFlurry's or MrWhippy's, only pasteurised milk and UHT guidelines.

High risk of listeria and salmonella apparently. Turns out the milkshakes have the same risk attached to them as the soft icecream. Every day's a school day - my MW never cracked a light on this at all. Thanks Bunny.

My midwife told me best to avoid them as there still could get germs during the day with the use of the machine

No worries Lexie, I think it is better to be safe
