My Diary! I wll be back soon!

Thanks for the replies everyone, I feel better now.

Unfortuntely, it was white bread! I try not to eat much bread, but yesterday I had no choice :( I will be back to my salads or wraps for lunch next week.

Ditzeeblonde - Glad to hear that you are back on track x

---------------

I have a wedding on Saturday which I'm really looking forward to. I've bought a new dress which looks nice on, I'm so glad that I've lost a stone, or it would look awful! Still a long way to go, but at least I've started x

Have a lovely time at the wedding & I bet you'll look gawjuss!! xx

keep on trucking! we'll get there!

Well, I've had Weigh In 8, and I've lost 2lbs, but I'm just not very happy. After my gain last week, I am still heavier than what I was in week 6. What is the matter with me. I did so well in the first couple of weeks, and now my weight doesn't seem to know what it wants to do!

Hopefully now that the hen nights and weddings have been, I can concerntrate on getting back on track.

Wish me luck! xx

That is very frustrating, isn't it! I congratulate you hanging in there, perhaps next week will be a big loss, but even if not, to know you are doing the right things to get where you want to be. (If it's not next week, it will probably be the week after, etc) I'm glad you can tell the difference in the dress, it's a good motivator!

Thanks for the replies, I'm really looking forward to Scotland!

Yesterday was an OK day, I did forget that I was going to the cinema though, so I had to grab a quick snack before leaving the house so that I didn't eat a burger when I was out! At the cinema, I didn't even give in to any treats, so I was very pleased :)

Update on my Aunty

My Aunty had her operation yesterday, and all went well :)
The specialist is happy with how the Op went, and my Aunty is pleasantly surprised with the results!

Unfortunately, the hardest part is yet to come, and she has to have treatment for 6 months.

So far so good though :) xx

I think you're heading for a great loss! Go us! (and great about your aunty) xx

Another good day yesterday. I stayed strong, and said no to chocolate, as I was quite close to going over my calories!

B: Branflakes with milk: 160
S: Banana: 90, WW Caramel Wafer: 70
L: Lettuce, Chicken Chargrill, Philadelphia, Pitta Bread: 380
S: Yogurt: 112
D: Chicken Leg, Butternut Squash and Nut mini roast and Spaghetti: 520

Total: 1332

I also drank over 2 litres of water.

The Butternut Squash and Nut roast was so yummy. I will definately be buying them again. It's a really good thing to have in the freezer, beacuse it can be eaten on its own with salad, or eaten instead of potato with meat.

Hope you all have a good day xx

P.S I'm going out to dinner tomorrow with Hubby and friends, and they have booked an Indian. What would be the best thing for me to eat?

Mmmmmmmmmmm i love indian food something tomato based like Jalfrezi or Dhal (lentil based). Stay away with anything creamy like Korma, Passanda or Tikka Masala. Menu's are usually quite good at telling you whats in things (apart from the calories unfortunately :().

Hope you have a lovely meal :)

Thanks for the reply Kas, I think I'll have a look in one of my books to work out the rough calories of an indian meal before I go.

I've just noticed that you're in Scotland, I've just booked to go to Loch Lomond in December, really looking forward to it! x

That butternut squash nut roast thingy sounds fab! Can I asked where you got it?

I always worry about what to eat when I go out, but like kas said, stay away from anything cooked in cream. Saag aloo (spinach and potatoes cooked in spices) would probably be low fat. Chick peas and lentil things are lower fat than the meat dishes too I think. Hope you enjoy it!
