Oh no! But don't mention halogen to me as my halogen ring on my cooker blew up earlier this year and OH cracked the hob trying to get it off to isolate it so I could use the others! Leastways they'll replace it for you.

i was lucky it was still under warrenty just, when i get another one back i am going to take out the 2 year warrenty this time

I'm on to my second one now as I used the other one so often I wore it out.
