My journey to slim and happy...

I now if I have put myself out of ketosis when my liver refills with glycogen and I put on 2/3 lbs over night. So you may think its weight gain but it could be just that, when you knock yourself out of ketosis you will automatically gain those few lbs its not fat, so don't worry. I obviously knocked myself out on hol and put 4 lb on but it's just glycogen not fat so I won't worry and that will disappear this week when back in ketosis. Good look and stay focused. X

Hi honey!

take it from the Queen of Breaking the Diet (me!) - you are NOT...did you get that...N O T failing. You are acknowledging that there is an issue. Lots of awesome advice has been given. I completely agree with Min. Sit down and decide whether you need to make it DAY ONE again and "start over" or whether maybe you do need a few days "off" ...having planned meals - protein and veggies to give yourself a break and a sense of "real" food. Either way you go, you ARENT failing, because as Lou and I said at one point....we may be chopping and changing and all over the place but we are, for the most part, still TRYING to get to where we want to be. And we will all get there in our own time. As long as you stay here....keep checking in and keep going - in whatever way you need to - you will be absolutely fine. We're here for you, lovely xx

Something I have learned is that we only fail if we let ourselves. One bad day is not a failure, it is a setback. A battle of many within a war.

Start afresh and make sure you do not allow all your hard work to be for naught, for one bad day.

Hi guys. I'm still here :). Just needed a break from posting. Difficult week but everything is a lesson. I'm pleased to say that I'm back on track as off Saturday. I've decided not to weigh myself until right before I go away which is in 2 and a bit weeks time.
One of the triggers that caused me going off plan was not seeing the result I had hoped for on the scales. I'm going to keep going, staying on plan as much as I can while still adding protein on workout days.
My behaviour last week scared the life out of me, I'm going to be honest. I definitely still have a lot to learn which is what I've decided to treat the blip as. A learning curve.
I will try my best to turn it into a positive and keep fighting! :)

:) Yay, you sound in a good place again. I reckon it's harder to get back on track than it is to actually stay on track if that makes sense ?!?

Go for it! It's a journey not just a destination! You will learn a lot about yourself on this..
Good luck x

Sending hugs :hug99: I hope you're ok.

Wishing you all the best... and as my dad always says when things go slightly awry - "Vsye budet horosho" ... so everything will be ok. :) He's a firm believer that when things go to pot, it's usually for a good reason, so there's no point in stressing out about it.

I hope your trip to Poland goes well - maybe go easy on yourself until your trip and get back where you left off when you come back. It's not the end of the world! :D

Thanks guys. I'm doing ok. Still doing the plan with a few tweaks. I've been very busy with work but I am still here :)
I've posted the below picture on Facebook today and I got so many positive motivating comments. It really helped me get my head in the right place again! I'm now fully charged ready to do this thing! On the left its me 2.5 years ago before I started LL and on the right it's me today
:)

Fantastic! What a journey so far! You have done so well!

Thank you :)
I'm about 50 lbs lighter now than on the first pic. I went up and down a few times in between but never actually went as big as I was then! Yuck!

Hiya Slim!! :)

WOW, look at you, you skinny minny! You've done SO well!

sorry not been around - kept trying, but life and **** got in the way! My head has not been in the right place, but I hope to be a lot more proactive on here.

How're you? Apart from looking fabulous of course! :) xxx

Here! I found it!

My old diary.

Sooo. I am back! Officially back on day 1. Originally I planned to go back on plan on jan 5th but screw that. I cannot wait any longer.

I have so massively over indulged in dec that I feel waiting another day would make me burst!

I will weigh myself later (not at home now) and update my diary properly.

How's everyone doing?

M x

Welcome back. I'm starting today too but haven't braved the scales yet!! I felt the same though - there's no point waiting any longer, I just want to crack on with it!! And with any luck we'll be in ketosis as the bell strikes midnight and the beginning of 2014!!
Good luck with day one xx

Thanks Hun.

At this point I feel there is no need to fear the scales. It's time to put the big girl's shoes on and face the reality.

Good luck with day 1. Definitely the right choice.
