How about writing to the local council and asking them to remove all kerbs on your test route! Offer to help remove them with your car. That should do it
Is her more tolerant than your hubby? I am trying to teach my hubby but my nerves are a bit in tatters. We have a 1.8 mondeo so it's not the smallest of cars and he pulls off like a rocket. Without duel controls, it's a bit scary!
we had a 1.8 mondeo and i hated driving it!
it was like a tank lol
we now got a peugeot 206 1.6l and it a nippy little bugger! and easier to park lol

My dad tried to teach me when I was younger and it was a disaster. I went through 3 driving instructors before I found the right one and he was brilliant. I passed on my 3rd test. And I passed on 12th December 2003. Best pressie ever! Cos hubby doesn't drive, it meant we had so much more freedom. And we lived in Milton Keynes which was built for the car!
Congratulations on your new grandson. Seems to be the time of year for the 8 pounders, my SIL had her baby on Wednesday night and she weighed 8lbs 4oz. I hope you get to see him soon.
