Its on my sw app. The lemonade ones are 0.5 syns the other flavours arent on there so i input the details and they came up as 0. Judging by the 1syn per 20cal rule the orange are 8 cals so guesz its closer to 0.5syns too but if it tells me 0 thats what im going for. ;)

Fantastic. I will definately get to Morrisons at some point. I will try the sweets first - when I get around to making them.

Morning everyone - quiet here - u must all be doing ur Monday washday lol! Except Linda of course - hope she's getting waited on - hand and foot! :)

Here's my food plan for the day - as far as I can plan up to now:

b: egg and apple - funny combination I know Doreen but what I fancied and suits the plan
l: french onion soup as yest - 3 syns and melon
t: eating out but will be on plan - we have 50% off voucher for our favourite pub! I won't have dessert but will have a coffee cos they serve it with a 1" square of choc brownie!

drinks: fruit tea, water, diet coke, coffee part hea
syns: 3 plus the brownie
exercise: 30 mins dvd

Saw Diabetic nurse this morning, overall she is very pleased. Go back in 6 months.
Em - she weighed me and I weigh 1lb less than I did about 10 months ago. She was ok with that as I had not put on.
I have to be ok with it because I can`t change it, when I go back in 6 months it will be lower. Unfortunately she is leaving next week.

Sugars slightly high but as I said to her as this weight goes down so will the sugar. Must take care with grapes, peaches and bananas. Handful of grapes? 1 peach 1 banana careful with pineapple. That will be hard but they are sugary.
Have to start buying melon a bit more often not so sweet.

Ah well could be worse.

Are you doing anything special today? I am gonna wash the kitchen floor and get the steamer out and have a go at a couple of rugs. The lunch.

Well ur overall weight is down and lately you have really got ur weight loss head on - so u'll weigh a lot less next time I reckon.

I'd find it hard to only eat a handful of grapes - unless I only bought that amount - they're moreish aren't they? Yes I like melon and with a hot drink it seems to fill me too.

I just have house jobs to do today - then the school run - just Poppy today and we're out for a meal later - hope u get ur jobs done and have a good food day xx
 
Had a phone call from Flnn last night. He had been sick on the way home yesterday home yesterday then he started to be sick whilst on the phone.
He has got another bug. Mum has put it on facebook. Will ring later.

My neighbour knocked a few minutes ago with some flowers in her hand. They were for me as I took a few parcels in for them last week. How lovely. The are little pink flowers and are now sitting in the window.

I am dying to get on the scales but too late for today now. Must resist tomorrow too.

Time for lunch. Ham and egg salad for me.
 
Had a phone call from Flnn last night. He had been sick on the way home yesterday home yesterday then he started to be sick whilst on the phone.
He has got another bug. Mum has put it on facebook. Will ring later.

My neighbour knocked a few minutes ago with some flowers in her hand. They were for me as I took a few parcels in for them last week. How lovely. The are little pink flowers and are now sitting in the window.

Poor little Flynn - hope he's better soon - he didn't pop into Linda's on the way home did he? ;)

Happy Monday Ladies!

Good to see you all had fab weekends!
I didn't do so well this weekend, Spent most of Sunday in bed, to drag myself up and over to my parents for a nice venison roast, To find them eating Chinese takeaway.... :( Not what I was after! I did polietly say no to chinese. Only to eat a bowl of cornflakes at 11pm last night followed by vivita fruit crackers, with banana and chocolate spread! Bad Times.

A little sweet idea I used to make before: if you put a small button size of yogurt on greaseproof paper, as many as you like, then slice fruit or use raisins etc and place in the yogurt then put in the freezer let the yogurt go hard, and done! They will melt quite quickly in a warm room but tasty little fat free snacks if using 0 syn yogurt. I'll see if I can dig the proper link out when Im home from work!
 
oh no - Sunday wasn't a good one for you! Hope today was better? Those yogurt sweets are worth a try when we have the munchies!xx

Your flowers sound lovely Doreen :) How thoughtful of your neighbour to do that! I think if you mainly stick to 'S' Fruit it should help your Diabetes/Blood Sugars as its most of the non S ones which will cause problems. X

Sorry to hear about Flynn, Doreen - after such a good day out too! Hope he feels better soon. What a lovely neighbour you must have and she obviously appreciates what you do for her too. Lovely gesture. :)

I can`t agree really. None of them are TOO bad but in moderation.

Oranges, strawberries, peaches, nectarines satsumas, ripe pears and even apples are all quite sweet. What she said was not to have 3 or 4 at a time S or not at any time during the day.========== she is pleased I am not eating cheese though

I know by checking sugars if I eat a couple of peaches and a couple of pears during the course of the evening my sugars go up.

It is bad enough trying to stick to an eating plan without being told not too eat so much fruit. Of course I know this without being told but it is difficult. Like running two eating plans at once.

Diabetic nurse axtually said only a handful of grapes (Not S) who wants a handful. 5 or 6 strawberries. This is to say only 1 handful a day. I like a box of grapes. Actually they are not as bad as peaches.

It is a very complicated area and the only way to really find out is to test sugars a couple of hours after eating them. I am usually in bed by then and often sugars a bit high in the morning, sometimes more than a bit high.

If any diabetics feel any different maybe they can let me know.

It still seems ok. Don`t think the 1/2 waffle would be too much. Sounds lovely tho`.

You know it can be quite good being on your own because there are no people tempting you. But on the other hand nobody to keep an eye on you. Don`t really know what is best.

Mmmmm.... I wd find it diifficult to restrict fruit whilst dieting too - I know veg isn't the same but I can nibble on raw carrot sticks, cucumber, mange tout, peppers, cherry toms, bettroot, pickled onions - are they high in sugar too? Anyway - u seem to manage very well, if I may say that, and ur on a losing streak which as u say - will help bring the sugars down in itself - carry on, carrying on Doreen!xx
