NannyDoreen & Upndown's daily diaries

Hope you feel better after a decent rest/sleep Doreen. Good luck for weigh in tomorrow, you are good to go... I'm not even going to bother weighing at home tomorrow as I don't want to risk having a real blowout over the weekend if I'm disappointed on the scales, which I suspect I would be if I weighed. Will get this weekend out of the way and start afresh on Monday.
Night night, sleep well xx

So sorry to hear you're not well, Doreen. :( Hope you feel much better tomorrow.

I know exactly what you mean, Linda, about not weighing in yet. When all my treats are over, by next Tuesday, I won't be weighing myself either, until I've been back on the straight and narrow for at least a week. Can't face being really disappointed so, best not to. :) xx

Morning all. Hope you all have a lovely sunny day as we do here in Hertfordshire.

Got weighed this morning and put on 1/2lb. I am really pleased that it was only that. Next week must lose at least 1.1/2lbs to get into the 15`s. Not been there for 5 years.

I have some cooking to do now for the freezer as nearly run out. Will catch up later.

Have a good day everyone.

That's actually brilliant, Doreen! Somehow, after what will be 5 days VERY off plan, I think my gain will be considerably more! :D Like I said to Linda C though, I'm not going to weigh myself until I've been back on it for, at least, a week, otherwise I'll lose heart.

Hope Linda UnD is enjoying her break away and hope you're feeling much better today. Have a lovely day! :) Off to Shropshire in a while so may not post until Monday so I'll say 'bye for now. xxx

Have a great weekend Kathy, though you'll be gone by now.

Great foodage Doreen, very low syns. Carry on like that and you'll easily slip into the 15s.
We've had no Virgin cable connection all day here so just having a quick look in on my phone.
Spent the afternoon finishing off birthday cake for Millie's party today, I'll stick a pic on my diary.
Poor Jamie had to go back to the hospital today and after several more X-rays and a long wait to see the orthopaedic specialist they decided he has a small fracture in his arm, so he now has it in plaster. He was very brave and says it is more comfortable now. Hope it doesn't stop him sleeping tonight though kids seem to cope with it well. My two always *wanted* to break something to have a plaster cast but never did. :)

Funny you should say that, I always wanted a broken bone & plaster. Broke my hand whan I was about 13 chasing a boy and hitting my hand on the iron railings. It hurt. OK once plaster on. Glad they found it though, he must have been very uncomfortable.

Hope it didn`t stop Jamie sleeping. Once you decide the best way to lay it is ok, if I remember right.
Will have a look at the birthday cake.

I really want to get into the 15`s next week. I am going to be very careful foodwise. Back to bed now

Great food again Doreen. Thanks re Jamie, he's coping well with the cast but doesn't like the sling. X

Slings are uncomfortable especially around the neck. I remember them well.

I have just come off the phone talking to my Andy in New Zealand. We spoke for 1.1/2 hours. All free. It was so good to catch up and get all their news. Nothing spectacular just general family stuff but so good to talk to him again.

Wow Doreen, I need some of your good foodness;). I'm
Letting the greedy Cloudy get too much of her own way lately, I need the Cloudy with willpower back! :)

Has today been a quiet one too? I reckon that's no bad thing after your hectic times lately dashing around everywhere. Hope it's been a good day, whatever it's entailed. Xx

Wonder how My Twinny is getting on? :) x

Thanks Linda. Have put a message on your thread re Millie.

I have had another quiet day. Keep saying I am going shopping but have not. Using what I have in cupboard.

I am getting some headaches. I think it is to do with my neck as I have spondilitus in my neck. But I am ok, just not too busy.

Ooh, hope your headaches pass, Doreen. Thanks for your Linda U message! :D Glad you're having a few quieter days lately. Surprised you don't get more headaches, putting up with the pace of your life sometimes!!

Been out for lunch with the Deputy Head from school today and that now concludes all my eating out for the foreseeable future, thank goodness! Now I can get back to SW with a vengeance. :) Still dreading WI on Sunday though. Will have to be very good up until then. :)

Hope Linda C is ok and that Jamie isn't in too much pain. xx

Great that all your outings finished. Hope you can get back on plan, it can be difficult.

Linda C is ok, but Millie is not well and did not really join in her birthday party which is such a shame. They are goingto take her to GP as she is being sick again.

I don`t have time for headaches when I am away. lol

Hope that Jamie's arm is more comfortable and he's not in pain - also poor Millie sounds as if she's been thro it too - hope doc could give her something?

I'm back Twinny - a bigger, rounder version of me that is - I started off fairly well considering what was on offer but once I succumbed - it was bad - found it hard to get back on plan today - WI 2moro - it's going to be bad news - and I mean bad - hope the shock of the number will set me back on the SW journey! xx

Lovely to have that long chat with the family I'm sure and great to have it free! xx
