need help please!

Tonight i'm having a jamacan jerk chicken made with a schwartz spice mix, I done a search and for the spice mix is 3.5 syns.

It says to add 425gr tinned pineapple. I have looked in my food optomising book and it says. 2.5syn per 100g. I will count the tinned pineapple as 11 syns.

This is to be added into the meal to cook, do I have to add more syns as its being cooked? I'm awfully confused, hope someone can help.

No you don't as the pineapple is already synned. Could you not just use fresh pineapple and stir it in at the end so that it is not cooked and therefore not synned?

Well the pineapple doesn't actually need to be cooked it just needs to be heated through, but the packet on the back says to use the pineapple juice for the sauce.

Might just use NAS pineapple juice!!! As we have plenty of fresh pineapple in the house!
