Need some motivation

Ok so I'm on day 12. And although I was really terrible in my first week nibbling here and there from day 6 I have stuck to ss 100% its quite easy now to resist food. but the problem is ii feel quite depressed. I'm having trouble staying positive. Although I'm in ketosis I still feel weak and low energy. Please what can I do, words of wisdom please. Yes weight loss is going really well but even this doesn't seem enough to heighten my spirits.
Lost 1stone so far. Started at 16 stone I want to be 11 stone so got 4 stones to go.

Hey ur doing soooo well.. Do not stop or let the food cravings beat u.. Just imagine sooo soon u will be at ur target weight! U have done so well coming passed day6 !! Keep it up babe x

Hi there and well done you so far, you're doing brilliantly. I think sometimes when we feel rotten its hard to feel positive and motivated. I'm on day 9 and its hard to see the end goal at the minute but i keep trying to think of all the positives that will come along with the weight loss and that I wont always feel this way. Im not sure what you do to congratulate yourself on your weight loss but ive started thinking about nice non-food related treats I will heartily enjoy when I reach each mini milestone. I'm getting a chocolate facial done when ive been doing CD for a month and bought myself some new shoes for deciding to start the weight loss and just going to keep trying to keep myself motivated that way by looking forward to good things that arent food related.

Keep up the great work, you can do it x
 
Thx guys just hearing some encouragement really helps. I was ready to pack it in until I read your replys. I think your absolutely right though I haven't rewarded myself at all. Its something to start doing defo. Thx again. I think Sundays are the worst and most difficult.
 
I find weekends hard & I'm on day 48! Especially as my bf is out at work. I'm currently under the duvet with a hot water bottle. Some people get loads of energy but I find that I get a clearer head & no post-lunch slump but still have to take it easy. I try & relax at weekends because my weeks are crazy. And not having kids means I can. Just look after yourself & realise that on so few calories you will feel different, but that's ok.
 
Hi I'm on day 12 too i started at 16 .11 so we're pretty similar! Sunday's are hard but all I keep thinking is short term pain for long term gain....you've probably been as unhappy as I have in the past but we are doing something about it and I'm sure it gets better (well that's what all the diaries say anyway!) keep you chin up and it'll be all good when you get to 11 stone!
 
I promise you the first 2 weeks are the worst. After that, you are in a routine & just don't do food. I enjoy cooking still, just not eating. But it's fine. Just think about having the packs & the water & the time flies.
 
Annie you're losses are great.....have you got much to lose? Really hope I can do 28lbs in 6 weeks! Well done and I'm glad to hear it gets easier!
 
I had 4.5 stone to lose just to get bmi 30 but want to lose another 3 on top. 2 gone so am on the way :) one of the hardest things for me in the first week or so was forgetting I was on the diet. So I'd think about good then remember I couldn't eat. It was like fresh disappointment each time! Now, this is my normality. I just hope I can keep it going. Stick with it, am sure you'll have great losses. I drink 4l water a day (I'm tall & have always drunk loads) and I think this helps too.
 
Thanks Annie I'm going to make sure I get 4L a day from now on....I want to lose 5.5 stones but I'm thinking that I need to go more as loads of people on here say they put on about a stone when they started eating again....if I lose 6.5 it'll give me a cushion! Keep up the good work!
 
It depends how you do it (i did cd before) if you go through the steps at the end you don't usually put any on. Good luck it should be off by the summer :)

Today was such an unusually long day thought it would never end, but am in bed finally and not thinking of food thank heavens!!!! That was one hard day but u did it. :)) yey!
 
Well done. My cdc is great, she reminds me that we do what we have to to keep us on cd & that sometimes it feels strange, but it's usually because we don't put ourselves first!
