needing an afternoon nap?

It's possibly just related to lack of sleep, and my body demanding that I listen to it a bit more, but pre diet on earlies I would always just survive for the few days on 4ish hours of sleep per night and have done with it, then have a major lazy day/lie in on first day off.

I had 5ish hours of sleep the last two nights before earlies, and came home today feeling tired after a not-very-taxing day then promptly fell asleep for an hour - similar to what happened in the past when I had a blood sugar crash after I ate potatoes/pasta, except today I had only had a shake (8.30am), a soup (1pm) and 2 cups of green tea plus some water (probably 2.5-3L of fluid in total).

Has anyone else had anything similar? I have survived shift work by drinking stupid amounts of diet coke & eating high carb food for the energy spike for so long that I'm not sure whether this is just a normalizing thing or whether I'm possibly coming down with something.

I feel fine, look a little pale & interesting but that's pretty normal for me.
