    Hi Everyone

Well here I go I started the Cambridge Diet last Thursday I got the shock of my life when I seen the scales and my BMI was worked out I think this is the biggest I have ever been. I have suffered with my weight since my teens and as PCOS sufferer it hasnt been easy I have tried Lipotrim(as well as others) in the past and I did manage to loose 3 stone but to be honest I never maintained- but this is a fresh start!! I am always worrying what other people think(here she goes again new diet) but not anymore I am doing this for me and no one else Im 100% committed to Cambridge and I feel really positive. Im sure I will have bad days but I know I can log on here and read so many inspirational stories and amazing pictures this will keep me going. Looking forward to reading them all and chatting to you.

My first weight in is Wednesday- im so excited!!

Hi sparkles :wavey: not long till Wednesday ! Bet you'll have a great first weigh in.....if you can get through the first four days , which you have, you can pretty much get through the rest if you can be mentally strong! When I start to struggle I find a bit of virtual online shopping helps....what I'll buy when I'm three sizes smaller....that sort of thing...it helps that summers around the corner! Xxx

I did find this weekend really hard but I made it through. I recently went through a breakup and was felling a little emotional I suppose its the withdrawal of everything anyway onwards and upwards. Hope you all have a great week.

8lbs is great!! Well done!! I think lots of people find weekends hard, I know I do, less so now but definitely the first 5/6 weekends it was hard to mentally not associate weekends with lovely eating! You did well!! X

I'm restarting CD tonight after having my baby boy last August. I lost 2 stone last time and whilst it was tough the results were incredible. But now I feel like a whale and I'm fed up, but I'm worried I will struggle as I'm a single mum (my ex cheated on me during the pregnancy) and once my little one goes to bed at 7pm I am alone with the TV and I usually snack then. Any advice on how to make sure I don't would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

Right ladies, I've just read some of your posts. Your all amazing for trying to tackle your weight with cd. I think the only way to succeed with this though is to be a little selfish.... Completely focus on yourself..try forgetting what's happened to you or what you've done in the past. Your doing it now....your going to look amazing....? x

Thanks. Good advice. For anyone else struggling with evenings and wanting to snack, a friend of mine recommended being creative... Like knitting or painting or just doing some light DIY things to keep hands busy. Am going to give the knitting a go! Looks like everyone is getting a scarf or blanket this Christmas lol :)

I started the CD today. I am feeling okay at the moment, even though it is only 11.47 lol. I think this was just the right time to start the diet, I have a lot to lose though. I had the mint choc for breakfast and it was amazing. I think I am going to be drinking more than the 2.5 litres tbh though. I have already done 1 litre without even thinking about it :/ What time do you guys usually have your lunch one? my breakfast was at 9, so im hoping to hold out till 2ish. Im not even slightly hungry atm so maybe I can do it lol x

Love this thread, you ladies are totally right about having to be selfish!

Something just cracked inside me and I thought, I'm not doing this to myself any more. Always feeling like the fat one at the party? No thanks! I was really worried that people would judge me and of course, the ones who don't know about CWP thought it was starvation and unhealthy  but now they can see the weight melting off and, look, I'm not dead!!! They seem to be eating their words! I'm into my 4th week of ss now, thinking about ss+ as I'm becoming a little miserable with just the shakes and soups each day. xx

Well done, you all sound so determined! I'm on day two. Really hoping all your positivity inspires me! I spent 2pm onwards yesterday starving lol. Was really hoping I slept a bit longer today just so I could delay the breakfast! Look forward to seeing how you all get on! :-D
