Hi!
I am terrible at introductions, so I'm just going to jump right in and explain why I'm here.
I'm 26 years old and I have 18 stone to lose. Awful, right? 18 stone! That's a whole other fat person! But, it's the start of a brand new year and after the ups & downs of 2013, I feel like this is the right time for me to finally do this.
I'm not an official paid up member of the Weight Watchers club as finances are pretty tight at the moment and I can't really afford the meetings or the online membership. But I am following the points system as I think it allows the most flexibility.
I really want to do this. I've recently started Fluoxetine for depression, but I think losing weight will help me feel better about myself and ultimately help me cope without meds.
Other than general weight loss, I have a few other goals I'd like to achieve this year, such as getting fit enough to join a gym and complete one of the free British Military Fitness sessions. But I'm going to build up to that. I want to see the weight coming off first.
I'm hoping that by posting this, I'll be held accountable and forced into sticking to it instead of giving up like I have in the past.
