I am new to this site but have been reading all your inspirational stories over the last week. I successfully lost weight on the CD last year (lost 2 stone) but got bored after a while and had no real support to keep me going.

I have put on about a stone since then and have had enough of being over weight. Currently I am 13 stone and would like to lose 3-4 stone as I am only 5ft 4".
I just cant have another year of hiding myself away and never feeling good enough because of how I look.

I am going to see my CDC tommorow and I plan to start straight away. I dont even mind missing out on the New Years Eve Celebrations because I know that if I dont do it now I never will. If I put it off I know I wont start. Its strange but I feel almost excited at the thought of starting. I know that wont last very long, but I feel that I can really do this and hopefully I will be a new person before summer.

Sorry to go on but need as much help and advice as possible and would be very grateful for anyones opinions.. Also anyone new starting the CD in January 2008 maybe we could keep each other going.

Hi Tigger,

welcome and congratulations to making the decision to start CD again!
I am in the same position I am restarting on the 1st Jan after going on it from aug - oct 2006 and loosing 2st 8lbs.
There is a seperate board for CD restarters.
I look forward to doing my journey with you and although i have a lot more to loose than you i am sure we'll be a strength to each other.

Thanks Louisa,

2008 is going to be our year. The year we succeed and look on the outside how we feel on the inside.

Just go for it. Totally focus on yourself and keep the vision of what you want to achieve. Good luck!
