I did power plates but suffered terrible motion sickness was so embarrassing, my friend couldn't stop laughing as I was being sick, the lady said didn't we tell you that's how you lose weight!!!

Good luck at the new gym I started a new one a week ago, it has a pool I am loving it, staff so friendly & helpful and it's so clean,

enjoy xxx

Sounds like you're gym is great! Never tried power plates, they have them at my gym but they're in a room where lots of men do sit ups and weighty things in groups and I get a bit intimidated and scared ill fall off! X

I've never tried them before- amuses me all the people that pay to go on them at the tanning salons - like standing on them for 10mins is gona shake all the fat away try some exercise!!

For free will be trying them meant to be good for Doms and there's a big chart with loads of exercises to try on them :) x

Yea you don't just stand on them! That doesn't do much! You do exercises as the vibration makes it work your muscles harder! I'd say 10 lunges feel more like 20 lunges.

I do lunges, situps, press ups, that sort of thing! Not used them in a while!

They also have these machines at my gym you lay on and they move for you! Lazy people or injury people use them!

I have seen the vibration plates at my "posh" gym ;) Quite intrigued by them but have no idea how to use them so might ask when i get my next programme designed. Your gym does sound great, and a real bargain too. That is something I certainly can't say for mine. Although maybe I convince myself the free towels on every visit are saving me a fortune on washing powder and electricity for the washing machine... Really excited to see what you think of kettlebells at the weekend as I really fancy trying the class at mine. Is it an hour? Or half an hour? I have one move in my programme with a kettlebell squat and lift and its surprisingly effective at making you ache from not doing much!

Food looking good. I love light feta in a tomato-y pasta. Yum yum.

Haha hope I don't fall off or throw up!!

Quite looking forward to trying kettlebells though I'm sure it will ache like crazy - depends what day the class is on some are 30mins and some 45. It's good actually they have loads of classes ranging from 15mins to 1hour which is great that you can do what suits your schedule!

Food has been so boring lately thy not took a pic in ages so here is dinner-

Nothing fancy but I love roasted veg the flavours are so much better :-D x

*Mental note to self: Must remember to buy corn on the cob this week. Mmmmm.

Its good about the class lengths. The kettelbells and Cycle classes are 30 - 45 minutes at mine but everything else is an hour which is obviously a bit more difficult to fit in.

That looks so yummy. I hope you enjoyed it. I am thinking of really giving simply filling a go but my consultant said no one follows it she couldn't advise if it works. I have book and you are doing so well and your food makes mine look very sad (my husband says he didn't marry me for my cooking skills - 22 years later)! Keep pictures coming xxx

Aww thanks it's nothing exciting but basic foods are really easy :) I rely on chilli, bolognese, veggie pasta and soups a lot as so easy to make!

Try simply filling and see how you find it, any questions just ask. There's plenty meals you can make using the free foods and still have points left for treats too. X

That lasagne looked lovely, well done for making something you've never done before :) I'm sorry you're feeling a bit down, hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day! x

Had chat with therapist person today so just been thinking a lot about things. Feel much better now than I did earlier :)

Lasagne was nearly a disaster I tried pre cooking the lasagne sheets as didn't want them being hard but used to small a pot so they all stuck together and couldn't get them apart without all breaking but got OH to buy more lasagne sheets on way home from work so the day was saved lol.

Freestyled a bit with the cheesy topping rather than make white sauce I just used a tub of chive cottage cheese and then put real cheese on top so it make a lovely double cheesy layer on top :-D much easier than expected and really tasty, ended up having a second portion lol and there's more left for tomorrow yay! X
