On my first day yesterday! Did really well & resisted everything! Came home from work to find my Doberman had passed away! Went to my neighbours to have a brew after it all & she made me a brew with Semi-Skimmed milk with 2 sugars? How many syns would that be? I only had 6.5 yest & this cuppa! Would it take me over? x

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your doggy

No one cuppa won't take you over! A level tsp sugar is 1 syn, so 2-3 syns for that. Milk comes out of your HEXA allowance but if you'd used all that semi skimmed is 2.5 syns for 100ml. So your cuppa shouldn't be any more than 4 or 5 syns - and anyway it's only one day and you've got a pretty good reason for a cuppa.

Thanks! I've got a 15 week old little boy, so my neighbour helped & then made me a brew to calm me down as my other half was still at work, I'd not told him at that point!
That's a relief! Didn't wanna feel I had messed up before I'd really started x

SW says a dash of milk is 0.5 syns, so that cuppa's hardly done anything to your syn count. Sorry to hear your news though.
