Hi!! I'm on day 4 of SS CD & so far things are going ok! Some friends of mine had great results so I decided to give it a try!! No hunger pangs as genetally have a low-carb diet anyway, just a longing for a large glass of wine when I get home from work :)

Hi folks, day 5 of CD SS for me. Been a bit tired but none of the other side effects i had been warned about (lightheadedness etc). Have had a few dreams about roast chicken though but i will be strong, dammit :)

I'm 5'11" with 3 stone to lose.

Good luck everyone x

Hi SarahJane,

I've been advised not to whilst in SS as the body is adjusting to the lower calorie intake and I know that when I tried some gardening I was exhausted. But I know exercise can be introduced somewhere along the line. Perhaps someone on here can help? I'd like to try and tone up as I go along if possible.

Hope you're getting on okay :) x

Haha, roast chicken!! I dream about wine!! Just going into Day6 & have felt a change in my clothes, but also rather delightfully my breath has started to honk a bit!! Fi :)

Hi Fi

Just saw your posts and had to say they have made me laugh - from lady parts to honking breath haha!

Hope you are getting on well today, I have a friend who lost over 4 stone with CD and is now extremely happy!!

Keep at it!

Hi Fajeets - For the mid section I would suggest some sit ups - start lightly with only a few to begin and then slowly build up to maybe 3 sets of 15 -20 sit ups. Dont over exert yourself though or make yourself ill, remember you are not supposed to exercise!! You could also try an exercise called "planks" - they look so simple but are difficult and work wonders for your abs (mid section)

Here is a link to how to do a plank - Ab Exercises: The Plank - YouTube

the idea is to time yourself and each time hold the position for another few seconds! If you are able to do even 30 seconds on your first go you have done well!!!!

Friendly Face, thanks for the advice - I'll certainly give it a go :)

Good for you, PickleFifi, got my first weigh-in tomorrow so we'll see what happens then! Got more energy today though, which is annoying for everyone around me. My skin seems better too...

Keep on trucking, everyone.
