Newbie! Red and Green days?

Hello everyone!
I'm usually a lurker on here but I took the plunge and joined my local SW group last night & EE was explained to me.
Could someone help me understand the green and red days?
I registered online and it gives a summary as to doubling your hexa and hexb depending on red or green but it just goes on to say "check your book for more details"... Well that's the thing I can't find anything in my new optimising book about them!
I can see the syn values in the back but the healthy extra pages doesn't give more information than the EE plan? Maybe I'm just being thick and have had an information overload though!

There is a separate book in your pack devoted to red/green/success express but to be honest I wouldn't worry about other plans just now as it might be confusing. Focus on extra easy unless you are a vegetarian and wait until you've got to grips with that before you think about another plan :)
 
Ah thank u, I haven't had a look at those but i will stick with this until I'm confident enough with it. It's having so many carbs that's worrying! Haha

Stick with EE for a week and see if you lose ok.

I know what you mean though about being worried about the carbs.
I have real trouble on EE as carbs affect me badly and I don't lose.
I stick to mainly red days - with the odd EE thrown in if we go out for a meal.
