newbie says hello

    Thought I'd say hi from myself to all

    Joined sw last Tuesday, my first weigh in was huge 16 stone 81/2 pound followed the diet and this Tue lost 1/2 lb gutted.

    Ill just have to keep it up if I don't loose more next week its gunna takes ages to shift booo u weight.

    Since Havering my second child 18 months ago I've piled it on the weigh biggest I've ever been feel like I am not going to loose it but I have to as being big is ruining my life how I feel and how I run my life

    I won't let my partner come nr me
    Feel like a monster
    Feel at rock bottom and angry with myself I ain't living at min as I hateyself so much at this weight

    just thought id say hi :)
    just joined slimming world myself last tuesday, i have been where you are now, i piled the weight on after having my son and ended up topping the scales at 17 stone 7lb heading rapidly towards a size 24 and hating myself for it.
    I lost a lot of my weight doing a calorie controlled diet but thats just not working for me anymore and quite frankly im sick of being hungry all the time so i have joined slimming world.
    Please dont get disheartened, you've taken the first step and joined a group, which i know is a really hard step to take so give yourself some credit.
    I'm betting that next week you will more than likely see a significant number come off at the scales (my weight loses always showed up the following week no matter what diet i was on at the time and believe me i've tried most!)
    Please try to remember that a healthy weight loss is 1 - 2lb a weeks so even if the numbers are small at least they going in the right direction :) sometimes small steps really are the best.
    Good luck for this week, keep up the good work and please let us all know how you get on next week x

    Hi Psyliquid, Welcome to the forum.
    I do soo feel for you as I have been there, done that and got the T shirt!
    It is so awful when it affects your life in such a way and I hope you will find the support and encouragement on here as I have had.
    My weight got up to 16.2 and with all my ailments that I have it had made my life not worth living sometimes but have now been able to lose some of it with the help of these friendly people on here.

    I do hope you will stay with us and start up your own diary. That doesn't mean you have to put down just what foods you are eating but how you are feeling and have a bit of a rant now and good to get things off your chest sometimes!
    I'm sure you will soon be feeling much better about yourself and that will help you to get into a good mindset in order to start losing some weight.
    It would be nice if you would share some details about yourself and fill in your profile so we can get to know each other better.

    Look forward to reading about your progress.

    Thanks for ur positive comments xx I hope I see a loss if I don't god knows what I do I'm doing the EE on weight watchers so might have to do the green and red if I don't loose next week xxxx
