Hi There,

I'm new to this site and started on SW 8 weeks ago. My friend had a spare pack as her partner gave up after 2 weeks. I'm doing this from home and have lost 8lb so far :D

Unfortunately my weight has stayed static for the last 3 weeks and I don't know what to do to kick start it again. I do the EE plan as it fits better with my OH and the type of food we like to eat.

I have shown a typical days food intake. Can anyone advise me of anything that I may be doing wrong ??

Breakfast = 2 x weetabix with 200ml SS milk

Lunch = Pasta with 1 tin of tuna (in spring water), sweetcorn, peppers and 1tbs xtra light mayo.

Snacks = Melon & Pineapple.

Dinner = Spaghetti bolognese made with xtra lean mince, tinned toms, seasoning & sweetner. 2 tbs parmesan.

2 small glasses of wine (not every day though).

Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hi, do you drink tea or coffee through the day? Do you accurately syn everything and stick to your healthy as and bs?

Where is your superfree? 1/3 of every meal MUST be superfree on EE - theres nothing in your breakfast and very little in your lunch or dinner. Sweetcorn isnt superfree so Id ditch that and replace it with baby tomatoes, more peppers or a big salad or whatever and cut the pasta/tuna part down a bit. Dinner all I can see SF wise is the tomatoes. Again you could pad this out by filling it with veg (mushrooms, onions, peppers, courgettes, whatever you fancy) and using a little less pasta/mince, or replacing the extra lean mince with Quorn mince even.

How big is your "small" glass of wine? They are ludicrously high in syns tbh, I limit it to once a week. A 175ml glass is 6 syns, a 250ml glass is 8 syns, so 2 glasses is using all your syns for the day up - although as youre not eating much else syn-wise (just the Parmesan & mayo that I can see) that doesn't necessarily have to be a problem.

Having said that you dont have that much to lose, so it maybe isnt going to shift very fast. But if you've STS for 3 weeks Id definitely try upping the superfree. (The point in 1/3 superfree btw is to reduce the amount of non-superfree food you eat thus reducing the calories you eat, as well as giving you better nutritional food - it's no an eat-as-well-as the free food you eat).

Also make sure you;re eating enough - not enough is as bad as too much, Its hard to judge without pictures how big someone's portion-size is. Good luck x :)
