well its my third weigh in and ive still only lost a pound... im not beating myself up though because i know ive not been sticking to it on a weekend... i do really well throgh the week... but come friday i fancy a drink n my poison is cider :rolleyes:!
i know if im ever going to get into a bikini i need to stick to it on a weekend and cut cider out... so fingers crossed i'll do it this weekend!

Don't lose heart Stephanie - I was on it three 3 weeks too and put up 4lbs the first week and then lost 1lb the 2nd weeks and STS the 3rd week. So I decided to restart again. I am following it 99% this week already and since Monday I am up a 1lb (was weighed in hospital on Wednesday). Now I am on a lot of medications (including steroids) so this won't help. But I know how you are feeling. Would you consider do fast start again and see what loss you get again. :)

Good luck Steph and I know how hard it is at weekends (my fri sat and sun always had a large bowl of minstrels and maltesers) When I realised that the big bag of each seemed to go faster and faster each time I realised it had to change so now Ive cut it out completely and yes the first weekend was hard but the goal of lookin and feeling fantastic again and walking into a shop with fab clothes that are fitted means more.
Every time the Cider calls you say No thanks and you will soon see a difference hunny....Maria

Would you not try Magners Light - my mam has swopped to this and it's defo less points than the regular. I know it's easier said than done but I cut out alcohol completely in 2002 when I started WW first time round and never went back on to it. I have the odd glass of champers or sparkling wine at a party or wedding but that's it. :kissass:

i'm going to see how the vodka goes down.. im not keen on coke so going to have it with fanta light.. is this still free??
im enjoying the diet and i've definately cut down a lot through the week..
if im honest i know why ive not lost the weight... i was out friday and sunday.. and had a pizza and roast dinner on sunday...
I WILL GET INTO MY BIKINI in 11 weeks!!
theres me and my boyf and another couple going on our holiday, she is on ww too.. and has lost 10lb... she was about the same size as me.. knowing she's looking better everytime i see her is also giving me more ov an drive to do it!

i love vodka and diet 7 up,,and only 1 point,,i'm drinking less than everyone else also as i keep topping up my glass till the 7up is gone,,where everyone else is having 2 vodkas to 1 7up if you see what i mean:)

Remember vodkas like bread the more you have the points multiply ie 25ml = 0.5 then double = 1.5

I also try and remember if we go off plan the gains won't always show up until the following weigh in so say you blipped thus week weighed in you could lose 1lb then the next week be good and have a gain as the body is funny luke this. Thus is one if the things that's kept me in ww 100% this time from start as I've yoyoed many times as blipping eventually shows up and then demotivated my good weeks xx

Good Luck! - hope you are managing to resist this weekend. They are also my downfall going out & drinking then the dreaded 'hangover hunger' :(
I have switched my tipple to gin/vodka and slimline tonics - have been saving my points for tonight - have manage to accrue 13.5... may not be such a good idea to drink that many gins & vodkas though :drunk:

hey,
well i managed to stick to the vodka.. no takeaway or really bad food over the weekend.. ive worked out that ive gone over my points by about 10.. but i dont use my exercise points .. so it probabley evens itself out over the week... fingers crossed for thursday (WI day)!

Well done :) I had 2 glasses of white wine, 2 G&T's, and 1 V&T on sat for a total of 7.5pts :eek: so not bad had to use my extra saved points by having a cooked breakfast on sunday to break even for the week ;) Unfortunately my weigh in is today so I'll see if it's affected me or not...:cross:

well ive managed to lose another pound... so my changes this weekend made a difference... fingers crossed for next week...
