Total Solution No more yo yo-ing!

Sounds like a lovely day!

Just tried a toffee caramel shake - has a smell a bit like play doh and a funny taste.. So I put a shot of coffee in it and it's better but still a funny taste. Don't think I'll bother with that flavour again, I got a couple to try off the Facebook swap page.

I have a new theory / strategy. I have been leaving it as late as possible to have my first pack so I'm not hungry but in my head when I have the pack in the evening it feels like a snack. I want to get out of the habit of snacking and I have read that breakfast speeds up your metabolism so today I am trying a pack at breakfast lunch and dinner. Hoping I won't be too hungry, wish me luck!

It's a tough one isn't it - I also tried that and it did help with evenings as I had more packs to have but I agree long term we are trying to get into the habit of three meals a day and practicing saying no to any more x

I have always done breakfast, lunch and dinner and when I succeeded on LT three years ago I had got out of the habit of snacking in the evening but it came back once I resumed normal eating. We do so much mindless eating. The odd biscuit, the odd latte, the extra piece of toast, the bag of crisps or bar of chocolate, the odd glass of wine. All this soon adds up. One of my resolutions for when I finish this is to absolutely not have anything to eat after my evening meal - there is absolutely no need for it - and to cut out all between meal snacking. And no more than one glass of wine a day during the week with my evening meal, if any at all. Again, that becomes a habit. Hope your new regime goes well.

I haven't tried this yet but as I don't fancy this flavour as a shake, I'm going to make it up as a mousse. Hopefully it will taste and feel like Angel Delight! You can use powdered gelatine apparently but can only use it once a day. Will let you know how it goes. :fingerscrossed:

That's interesting - didn't realise you could do that. Let me know how you get on! :)

Just felt the need to say...

Maple pancakes = yum in my face!!!!

They are so good :) I cooked about three from the batter this time rather than one big one like I did with the other flavour, and it was virtually (bar the aftertaste) like the real thing :)

So this was my second pack today - I wasn't hungry at 12ish before I went to school and was planning to take a bar to have afterwards when I picked hubby up at 3pm but I forgot! So I still have one pack left to have today..

Off out for a run with hubby in a bit - I'm on week 2 of the couch to 5k - wish me luck! Hopefully when it gets harder I'll be eating real food again and so will have a bit more energy - finding running quite tough on a VLCD

I'll check in properly later.. Hope everyone has had a good day? Xx

Hope you enjoyed your run :)

Hope you enjoyed your run :)

Thanks Miss Mac I did! Feeling like I have a little more energy on this one :)

Big weigh in tomorrow! Eek!

Week 2 Day 14

Weigh in tomorrow! I get hubby to guess what I will have lost each week - he was spot on last week and guessed 5lbs for tomorrow which I would be over the moon about but is be happy with 3lbs or over to be honest.

Had shake for breakfast, forgot to take my bar with me for lunch so I had pancakes when I got home at 5ish and then just had the turkey dinner which was ok but not sure I'd buy any. Spag Bol all the way for me :)

Had a lovely run, did my first of the week 2 couch to 5k and felt like I had a bit more energy this time :)

Roll on tomorrow's weigh in! :)

Good luck for weigh in :D Well done on doing the run, with dieting and exercise you'll be at goal in no time :) x

Week 3 Day 15

Starting weight 12.3
Today's weight 11.5
Lost 4lbs this week!
Total loss so far 12lbs!

I'm pretty chuffed with that - although when I got on the scales I was hoping for more, but that's a great weight loss!

I'm going to change my signature and ticker etc and see what happens to my bmi

Will check in later on :)

Hope everyone has a great day!

Well my bmi is now 24.9 so according to exante I should move to Simple Solution but I don't want to yet. Going to carry on with TS for now, still not sure whether to allow myself a healthy meal at the weekend or not - it's going to be odd sitting in a restaurant with hubby and not eating!

Just trying a mango and passion fruit shake - not my fav, think I'll stick to strawberry and banana. I used my promixx to make it and it was ok but I like shakes cold and frothy so I tend to do them in my blender with ice. I can't really recreate that..

I'll try it with soup before I go, see if I could use it for that instead.

Great loss there Yoyo. Are you planning to run daily . x
