Saturday 30/03/2013:
First day of slimming world (green day):

Morning:
Apple & banana
Bowl of rice, minimal tomato puree and mushrooms

Lunch:
Bowl of rice, minimal tomato puree and mushrooms
Apple & Orange

Snacks:
2 Ryvita original and 2 low fat red cow triangles
Piece of celery and salt.

Dinner:
Oven cooked potatoes and sweet potatoes, mushy peas and 2 quorn sausages
An orange.

Syns:
Nutrigrain bar (apple) - 6 syns
2 quorn sausages 1/2 to 1 syns each

Comments:
Not so bad, bit of a culture shock with the lack of sugar and slightly headachey, will drink some water as will probably help.

Apple, Banana, 2 x whole bread toasted [no butter] and 2 eggs


Lunch:
Celery and cucumber starter with salt and vinegar
Brown spaghetti, tomato puree, mushrooms and mixed frozen veg
Fruit salad with kiwi, strawberry, blackberry and low fat natural yoghurt


Snack: HEB+HEA
2 Ryvita and 2 red cow triangle low fat.


Dinner:
2 jacket potato (medium) with baked beans in tomato sauce (reduced sugar).


Syns:
Cappuccino (nescafe, standard) = 4
Nutrigrain = 6
 
Breakfast

2 apples

Lunch
2 wholegrain rolls with a sainsburys meat free burger and 2 rashers of quorn bacon rashers (from frozen) in each
Mushroom and onion side and low fat cream cheese

Snack
2 x apples and a home made smoothie with natural low fat yoghurt, kiwi, strawberry and blackberry
a slice of melon
2 x ryvita and 2 x low fat cheese triangles (hexa and hexb)

Dinner
A stirfry with chicken like pieces (quorn)

Evening snacks:
Chilli snackajacks - 4 syns
Apple nutrigrain - 6 syns
The extra roll at lunch 2 syns
3 syns for the fake bacon/cream cheese.

Difficult, days off are always the days where I let loose... proud that i stuck to it, not happy i ate so much but a scale check showed 2-3 kilos down already, probably water... but impressive none the less.

Raspberry and green tea
Apple
2 pieces of wholemeal toast with quark


Lunch:
Celery and cucumber

Melon and pineapple chunks
1 x rice cake (2 syns)


Snack:
Chilli snackajacks (4 syns)
Nutrigrain bar (6 syns)
Tea with no sugar


Dinner:
5 baked potatos (small) with quark inside and baked beans (reduced salt and sugar).
Fruit Salad (pineapple, raspberry and melon).
Apple.

Comments:

Feeling energetic.
 
Wednesday:

Morning:

2 pieces of toast (brown, wholemeal) with quark
banana
apple

lunch:
mango and pineapple pieces
2 x ryvita with 2 x triangles of red cow low fat
rice cake (2 syns)

snack:
snackajacks chilli (4 syns)
nutrigrain bar
apple

dinner:
brown spaghetti and quorn mince with tomato puree paste, mushrooms and mixed frozen veg
stewed apples with lemon juice (fresh) and sweetener
1 caramel snackajack - 3 syns
 
Breakfast:
Apple & Banana

Snack:
Apple

Lunch:
Banana, 2 x ryvita and 2 cream cheese triangles (low fat, low cal) and 2 wholemeal bread with cream cheese remainder from ryvita.

Snack:
2 x Caramel Snackjack (6 syns)
1 x nutrigrain (6 syns)

Dinner:
2 Quorn sausages (from frozen) and 2 quorn burgers (from frozen)
home made chips from sweet potatos and potatos
2 eggs
[yes, i was very hungry - no idea where it came from]

snacks:
1 x caramel snackajack


pigged out but within the rules, i guess...
 
OH DEAR FRIDAY!

I done well in a bad way... but I was out and it beats my usual foods of kebabs and pizza!

Morning:
Banana & Apple

Lunch:
2 ryvita and 2 low fat cream cheese
2 brown wholemeal bread and low fat spread
banana and apple

snack:
nutrigrain and snackajacks (10 syns total)

dinner: :-(
footlong on 9 wheat (brown) with turkey and ham and salad, with onion sauce
low fat frozen strawberry yoghurt
 
------- End of week 1 7lbs weight loss (but i was a bit 'full', if you know what i mean!) ------
 
Saturday
Morning: Apple, 2 oranges and banana
Lunch: 2 x hotdogs (quorn) and 2 x wholeweat hot dog rolls with mushroom and onions
Dinner: 2 x wholewheat roll with quorn burgers, 2 x eggs and mushy peas.
Snacks: 1 x chilli snackajacks, 2 oranges and an apple.

I have been sticking to the diet and have lost now a total of 15lbs, 8lbs this week (re-weighed saturday am before car mot repairs, that's an even better way to lose alot of pounds...)

I don't understand! Friday I was 2lbs heavier (hence original post of 6lb loss), by Saturday I lost 2lbs - is this normal?

Everyone's weight will fluctuate throughout the day that is why weighting first thing in the morning, naked and after being to the toilet gives the most accurate reading for weight loss.

3lbs this week, not the crazy losses of the other weeks... but a loss is a loss :)
 
Total loss at 22lbs (well, just over) - 10kg lost thus far, down a size on tops and trousers (at least!).
 
Only 1lb lost this week but i've been naughty :p

Total loss 23lbs.
 
Only 1lb loss this week... time to engage the gym.
 
Finally, I've reached 2 stone down as the milestone. Gym is definitely helping, my diet has been less than perfect for many self induced reasons but I'm back on track.
 
Current loss 37lbs!

Club 10 achieved, not far off 3 stone. Been very naughty recently but backed up with gym, time to get clean again with diet.
