I think they are no carbs too aren't they.

There's a certain way of cooking them. Think you need to soak them well first if I remember right.

I'm told they taste of rubber bands  :D

I was wondering what they would taste like. Probably nothing. But I guess as long as you had a tasty sauce you could soldier through a bowl of no carb/cal rubber bands!

No april fools! They are used in America a lot for WW, I think. I was looking at a WW Recipe blog (I know, I know! :whoopass: ) and saw a link to them!

i have just watched the little news thing and they are made of soluble plant fibre so have no calories (quoted as heard). how can they not have calories because they are made of soluble plant fibre. everything has calories, even if we burn off more of them to eat the sodding things...

if they tasted good they'd be great for my stirfries etc but i bet they are rank!!

    abz xx

These are big in the US (check out the hungry girl website), 0 pts on ww, and they smell VILE! I brought some over from home last time I went and when I opened them I almost passed out from the smell. You have to wash them thoroughly, and they taste better with a stronger sauce, the HG site has loads of recipes using them
