Just read on here that we can have chick peas free on a green day or EE day so.......

I am cooking some in my Actifry with 3 squirts frylight and some salt - shall let you know the results ......

well that didnt work very well !!
they was in for about 35 mins and getting nowhere fast !!
they were still soft in middle and tasted like very dry baked beans -
wont be doing them again LOL
oh and I tried doing some popcorn in Actifry aswell - didnt work either !!

I keep thinking of fried onions in mine!!!!!
Have you tried them, and if yes, are they yummy?!

I posted about chick peas they probably take nearer an hour when i do them in the oven x

I did them in my actifry and they were delicous, I sprinkled them with ground chilli flakes and some aromat, cooked them for about 15 mins , I let them cool coz wasnt sure if they would crisp up,didnt, put them back on with a couple sprays frylite,sprinkled with low salt and ate the bloomin lot. suppose it depends how many you have in the pan as to how long they take,try them again. and yes I have done onions and peppers in the actfry and they cook great,really tasty
