Finally we are. Took 2 days to paint dudes room. Boiler should be finished by Wednesday, carpet going down Wednesday. New bed up on Wednesday. Sports massage Thursday at 9.15am, Friday off to talk to one of our quotes for a new bathroom and ensure. Also speech therapist is coming out to assess dude on Friday too. Might have to leave bathroom til later on Friday. So much balancing to do. Hope I get my feet sorted as I'm keen to get back to running. Think with very little training getting to mile 9 out of 13.1 before my legs went dead was a good achievement. Mile 9 was at 1hr and 47 mins into my run - not bad time. Physically I could have ran on but legs... Gave up! Also think it was the pounding of the pavement that's do e my feet in. Think it's plantar fasciitis!

See a podiatrist. Get your GP to refer. Orthotics can help.

Just waiting..... Waiting for it to fall off!

I love it. MEMORIES... I'm Singing. DS had a batman room at one time. ;). It was after the 10- Dalmation and before the Star Wars, which later became Space... And now it "Tip"!

I hope your feet heal soon. Are you teaching Zumba with those tootsies? Can't be easy.

The strapping looks good Nikki, if its right you should feel relief almost right away. Experiment with the tape that goes across your foot as that's where the support is. I found it more comfortable slightly tight, but not too tight that my ties turned blue lol.

Hi Nikki,

Have you looked into orthotics?

Hey Nikki, have just found this diary. I thought all my subscribed threads on my mobile app were dead in the water. Seems I should have logged on, on the laptop and found you all!

How are things going? I catch up with bits and pieces on your fb. I knew about your laser surgery and NGR. Are you not doing the teaching anymore? I knew your heart didn't seem to be in it. How are you getting on weight loss wise?

I wondered a few weeks ago if I had PF, I had spent 3 days on my feet at various horse shows etc and with ill fitting shoes (zero support) and being used to being at a desk all day... I think I bruised my heels. It was so painful, I couldn't even sleep for the throbbing. It has taken over 3 weeks for my left heel to feel normalish again and if I am on my feet for too long (more than 10 minutes at a time), it begins to hurt again and it puts me back a couple of days. All the time I have been walking funny on my right foot has meant I have done something else to it now, it feel slike the muscle that goes along the inner arch of my foot (between the ball and the heel) has been torn. When I dont wear supportive shoes, I can feel it pull and tear as I walk. I can also feel a large know in the muscle there. I have considered strapping it up? Let me know how you get on with yours?

I know it isn't plantar though as my dad has suffered with that for years and this came on too quickly. Plus my symptoms are slightly different, like my feet get worse during the day, I dont get the stabbing pains in the morning (even though they do hurt). I am sure I just bruised mine. I've gained so much weight and those 3 days were so full on compared to what I normally do.

Anyway, Im off on a tangent! Just wanted to say higha nd subscribe so I can keep following. I'm day 1 SS tomorrow!

This is how I've done it. It was a relief straight away but the next day the relief had gone. So I guess I need it tighter.

I'm messing about on the 810 again. I feel like such a flaming failure. Been drinking wine too often. Never used to touch alcohol especially on this diet but since I lost my mum, and it now feels like an excuse to drink, it's been hard not to drink. Feel like I'm turning into an alcoholic. I need to stop the wine and hit this diet head on. By which I mean SS! Where has my motivation and willpower gone! I used to be very very focused!
